I'm in team "hell no".
The problem with the game right now is often that the board doesn't matter enough. Over-the-top damage and combo's aplenty.
This is a super hard counter to decks that try to make big, overwhelming mid-to-lategame boards. Midrange decks and big decks. This will only make the board matter even less. And the board is the only place where hearthstone is interactive.
Will be interesting to see if this cards ends up being good or BA-A-A-A-A-Ad!
Holy shit I love it. Finally a proper removal option for Mage.
Rez Priest in a mud
The problem with teching against Rez Priest is that you'll face ten Odd Hunters and Pirate Warriors between each Rez Priest. It might still be worth it for the satisfaction, but not for the win rate.
Its powerful, but not nearly as tilting as Devolving Missiles at least.
Im still not sure if its a straight up inclusion, because a bunch of sheep is still damage to face, and its an arcane spell, which means you're technically 50-50 your Magister Dawngrasp pool assuming you'd have other arcane spells in mind, and mage does have plenty of those.
Still, I asked for a payoff for big spells, and this suitably answered.
Hell YES! They're actually finally supporting control. All you brainless board spammers and face whackers can SUCK IT!
You'll have to mana cheat it though, because if you play this versus an aggro deck on turn 7 you're probably either dead already or will die to the sheep, which would be most embarrassing.
Maybe. Mage has decent control tools to slow down aggro going into this card. A lot of freezing options and cheap removal, as well as Fire Sale.
OK they definetely don't want to let players play priest decks.
Finaly good card for mage. WELL DONE
Thanks, I HATE IT!
It is arcane so it works with the new hero card too. This card is going into my wild big mage, which might be able to defeat Renolocks now.
I'm joining the "hell, no" front.
Oh hell yes!
Oh hell no.
HELL NO...
Psychic Scream level of OP, this is going to see play even in Wild.
You forgot to say “if the meta is slow enough to get to turn 7.” Personally I’d love a world where Frostlich Jaina can make a comeback in Mage. For as annoying as she used to be, not even having the option to play cards like her with hyper aggro metas is more annoying.
Holy shit the madlads finally did it. The fabled Mass Polymorph. Cubelock on suicide watch.
