I really like this. You get a choice of 3 minions to help your situation. I love Discover and I'm super happy that they continued using it through all the expansions. The discount of 2 mana on it also makes it a super pain in the ass as well
Now this is a fun card! You get the 2 mana back that it takes to play this, and you can Discover what you need. Might not be very good, but definitely fun!
Burgle rogue is getting quite a bit of support, which is nice to keep it fresh and viable in standard

So we've waited long for a deathrattle card in rogue to be introduced so the earlier deathrattle support aren't completely shit. And we duly got rewarded by a card that basically fits any and all roles as a deathrattle target.
The only way this card backfires spectacularly is if you get offered up the pre-prime cards like Lady Vashj for example, which doesn't really do much tempo wise. On the other hand you can easily highroll Najak Hexxen and just have a 4 mana Mind Control in a class with Shadowstep.
This is just what deathrattle rogue needs.
This card alone gives me hope for deathrattle rogue. Priest and Hunter have some really good deathrattles and the 2 mana discount basically makes Reconnaissance free. Also remember, the Primes are still in standard, so those will be good value to get too.

Fucking lol, first they print a bunch of Deathrattle synergy and then they decide you have to get your deathrattles from other classes.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I'd rather just play good cards in my deck rather than hoping to discover some from another class.
Meme card at most, since there is too much RNG involved (deathrattle pool is huge). Might end up in some YT highlights, but not in constructed play.
The fact that this specifically discovers class deathrattle is a big deal - this can give you access to every Prime minion (other than Akama, of course) as well as some very high impact cards like Rattlegore and The Rat King and Coilfang Warlord (and maybe Aegwynn, the Guardian if you've got a decent number of damage spells in your deck). There are plenty of bad targets, of course (some generically weak ones, some that require too much synergy), but I think at least 50% of the class deathrattles you could find in Standard range from playable to strong even without additional synergy or support, so you should be able to pick up something good most of the time you play this.
Waxmancy was a very similar card which saw little to no play. The differences between the cards are that Battlecries are faster than Deathrattles so point to Waxmancy but Reconnaissance has an overall better minion pool as it's restricted to class cards, which are better overall than neutral ones. There is some synergy with the Deathrattle minions, particularly from Forsaken Lieutenant, which can give those Deathrattle effects similar speed to Battlecry ones.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)

Burgle rogue card AND deathrattle rogue in 1. Really flexible and with all the deathrattle stuff pushed this expansion Reconnaissance might be really good.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
This will be very good and make for varied games I like it better than discovering a rogue legendary.
I guess Rogue doesn't get a lot of its own good deathrattle cards, but instead gets this to play other class's. This should work nicely with the other deathrattle synergy cards.
Rogue doesn't have that many good Deathrattles. Better steal them from other classes! KekW

Feels like they are a bit scared to give good deathrattle cards to rogues lately - is it because of way to abuse them in wild? That would be the first.
Yes you can get the perfect card from this, but you can also just get garbage. I think this would be best left to discovering off some other effect.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
It's fine. We don't have a lot of Burgle stuff in Standard, so maybe this makes the deck by default. Its best feature is that you can't find Neutral deathrattles, which cuts the pool by quite a few terrible options. There's probably nothing that can be done with it consistently, but it should do fun stuff.

Seems like a pretty decent card, though that could be my Deathrattle bias showing. There's a huge amount of variance, but I think you'll usually get at least something worth playing.

Quite a strong and versatile card, I can see it being included in some Rogue decks even if only for tempo plays.
