Hard to evaluate, Paladin usually wants to be the one ahead on the board, not fighting back.
Does make a really sick combo with Samuro though.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Good with Blademaster Samuro and Saidan the Scarlet but that's it. I dont see any other reason why you would play this card. Paladin prefers having board control, so when they don't have they board they will often be in trouble.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
The fact is that this card can potentially buff something by 8 shouldn't be underestimated. Samuro for example can absolutely wipe the floor clean with naught but two mana extra.
There is however plenty of competition. Noble Mount being a better card doesn't help this one's case, and in card does require your opponent have a board, which is usually not a good thing for paladin, because they'd always want to be ahead on initiative or board.
One niche it does have; tradeable. Something of which can save your life in case you get screwed hard. And unlike the more situational City Tax, this card plays to the pally gameplan well anyway.
The tradeable ability has me sold on this. You get it early before the board has gone out of control, get a new card. Later on, if you need to beef up something with taunt, totally worth it.
Looks decent enough to see play and wasn't there another new Paladin Minion (1/5 i think that profits from buffs) that would benefit greatly from that ?
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Well, this certainly looks potentially powerful. Maybe even a Blessing of Authority without the can't attack heroes this turn restriction if the opponent's board is wide enough.
