The weapon having the same name and getting the +2 buff is nuts. This guy is cheap too compared to the other Colossal.
Rogue is typically faster than this though. Not sure where this guy would fit but looks strong if it gets a home.
Casual Dragon Cardgame enthusiast.
Unless I misunderstand this, both the minions and the weapons get +2 attack as long as the body is around, that would make this 6-mana to deal 12 damage, out of which 4 can go face. as well as possibly setting up another 4-damage on the next turn.
Pretty sure this'll just be in about every tempo Rogue deck that doesn't run an insanely low curve, it's almost as good as Jandice in terms of impact.
Also, if you Shadowstep him and replay him you can pretend he grew back his claws like a real crab :3
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I cannot see the stats for the colossal minions so ... is this good?
Its just a decent colossal minion that removes 8 health from the field, and gives you an additional 4 damage. At the 6 mana range, this is likely one of the most common colossal minion we shall see.
But its kinda expected that rogue's colossal minion would turn out to be something like this. Mundane, but in rogue where battlecries are routinely abused, that's hardly surprising. Not that this card has anything to worry about, because I dont see any rogue deck not playing this card.
We'd need to see a gameplay video coz I'm not 100% sure if it's just the weapons that get +2 attack, or if the rush minions get it too. Regardless, this is a solid Colossal minion that will see play
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
This seems very strong. Basically it's a 6 mana 6/5 + 8/2 worth of rush + deals 4 dmg to a enemy (Which you can choose thanks to it being on weapon) AND you get a 2/1 weapon if you trade the rush minions well. This seems like a HUGE tempo swing. Crabatoa seems weak when you first look at it, but wow it's insane when you think about it.
Crabatoa will see play in almost every rogue deck in standard, and basically takes Jandice Barovs spot as the big stat bomb.
Crabatoa in wild will probably see almost no play, due to it not fitting into popular rogue decks that well. Maybe some might try to make space for it regardless.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Not my favorite of the colossals I've seen so far. My main concern was that if both died, the weapon from the first one would get replaced before you could use it, but the claws have rush, and the weapons have 1 durability, so you just need to play it when there's something to rush into, attack with token, swing weapon, attack with second token, then have weapon for next turn. It's been confirmed that the appendages and weapons all get the boost, but the appendages are named Crabotoa's Claw, and the text says "Crabotoa Claws", making it sound like it should only boost the weapons.
This card is lol busted. 6 mana for two rushing 4/1's and a 4 then 2/2 weapon is already fine at 6 mana (weapon is valued a little over 2 mana, the rushers a little over 4). Now package in a free body plus bundling and you got a spicy deal. Craft golden

This card seems busted. Also looks like one of the best colossal cards so far!

Crabatoa got his shiny?
I was expecting Moana's reference in any moment
Could be a cool card. Reminds me a bit of Anubarak in that it's a really cool effect that doesn't necessarily jive with the rest of what Rogue is doing. The best thing about it is that it synergizes with itself, so it can kind of go in any deck that wants it. If you're saying this card is busted, I need three words to tear your argument apart: "Crabatoa is OK."
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
Just a straight up a generically good card for Rogue, could honestly fit in all but the most demanding deck building conditions.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Seems good, and a tad cheaper than most of the other Colossal minions, so there is that, but it also doesn't seem to benefit any of Rogue's current decks or game plans; is it good enough to be included regardless? Only time will tell. For now, I'd say it is at least playable and interesting
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Not insane, but still quite good. Plus, he looks adorable. What's not to love?
