While datamining the game for cool stuff, we discovered something really interesting. Loatheb, the big mushroom lad from Naxxramas, is getting the Diamond treatment. You can obtain him by owning 30 Naxxarams cards, but that doesn't appear to work at the moment. This is the second wild-only card to get the extra bling after Ragnaros the Firelord.
Diamond Drek'Thar
He's not the only Diamond card we're getting with the launch of Voyage to the Sunken City. Aside from Sir Finley, Sea Guide and Invalid Deck ID, who are available as Diamond cards for purchasing the Sunken City Tavern Pass and obtaining 25 Sunken City Legendaries, respectively, Diamond Drek'Thar is available for purchase for 3000 Coins or 25 USD or regional equivalent. This is the first time a Diamond is purchasable, but there's a good chance it won't be the last.

25 dollars for a single card?
"Is this an out of season april fools joke?"
PS: Diamond cards are already so bad when you compare them to the premiums from Gwent, even "foils" from Arena look way better
Maybe, but you have to consider the human cost if you're actually, you know, playing Gwent.
Uh? Yeah whatever you say
25 Dollars for a single card?
Fucking joke
I agree, this is robbery.
and This is coming from a guy with Gallywix as his PFP
And im sure fanboys will still defend the price as always
How is a battlepass with a diamond card less expensive than 1 diamond card lmao
I'm happy to defend their right to assign it whatever price they want, and I would never call it "robbery" since no one actually needs the thing they are selling.
That said, I would also never pay $25 for a single Hearthstone card that I already own a copy of in gold, especially one that is rotating out of Standard in 12 months.
So while there's nothing unethical about their decision here, I do question the wisdom.
Fanboy here.
$25 dollars is just stupid. Diamond cards don't even look that good, and I already have a superior Golden Drek'thar.
I would maybe pay $5 for it, but not $25. I'm a chump but not that big of a chump.
3000 gold or 25 $/€ is terribly overcosted. Most of the playerbase already has Drek'Thar, so it's just a graphical update - but for x2.5 the price of the average hero skin, with voicelines and all.
Got all naxx cards, no diamond loatheb.
And drekthar so insanly overpriced, 25 euro for a single diamond card
It is claimable in Collection/Naxx achievements, or it is supposed to be, but it appears to not be working right now. I have the achievement, I dont have a Diamond Loatheb yet.
