  • Well, here comes the miniset that couldnt come sooner. At least this time, I dont feel like hearthstones a boring mess like the last expansion.

Morchie - Its probably most playable in rogue because of shadowstep, prep, and chrono daggers. Plus, it gives out value. Outside of that, cant really see what this cards supposed to do. Ironically being 4 mana instead of the absurd 6 mana that's given to chromie, shes more playable than her better self.

Battle at the End of Time - Its highly likely to be shit, because the main reward is a deathrattle, and the conditions are atrociously difficult. Filling one's hand is hard enough especially in faster matches, clearing it is something else entirely. And what you get is a reward that doesnt even instantly win you the game. Probably warlock would experiment, but anyone thinking this will make handhunter a thing will be sorely mistaken.

Haywire Hornswog - Probably viable after rotation, or they put elemental destruction into core. As it stands, it does nothing because the overload cards isnt up to snuff. Why would I create a deck around this when hagatha shaman is practically one of the most powerful decks available.

For all Time - One of the worst cards ever made. Imagine spending 4 mana to do a maybe board clear and gimp your following turn. Its barely decent at 4, and progressively gets worse as the game goes on. Basically the only reason why this exist is to make haywire hornswog good, and I wouldnt even play this pair together in a deck.

Bitter End - A reminder of why frost nova is so overpowered and will never be brought back to core. This card is worse in just about every part that counts.

Honestly, just bring on rotation because the trend of creating middling cards continues. I look forward to see few viable cards out of this miniset and we play the same decks for the next 2-3 months.

  • At the moment, we don't know what the reveal schedule looks like because Blizzard hasn't posted one, so we're in the dark on when these are finished.

What's really curious to me is that both of Shaman's dual-class pairings (Rogue and Priest) depict Shaman on the left side. This means that there's either two "wheels" of class pairings, or someone made a mistake and Shaman is actually supposed to be on the right for one of these pairings. The former intrigues me a lot, but it's almost definitely the latter.
