Its really just a different Exotic Mountseller, and that's putting it charitably. The problem is that unless you're running massive spells, this card would likely end up giving you 0-2 drops most of the time, and even then it might be of sub par quality because there's really not many rush minions on those range of minions. Not to mention that Animated Broomstick is now gone, so if this does not generate either a taunt or a rush minion its pretty much a waste of time. Better off playing Deviate Dreadfang, if Im being honest.
But Ive a feeling that druids' theme this time round would be big spells, which would account for why they thought this card could succeed. And it actually might. Even a simple 7-8 cost spell is more than enough to power up this bad girl. The drawbacks may only be a small footnote, depending of course if druid gets more big spell support.
I feel like chances are pretty good for this to be useful and valuable on a tempo play, given that you drew it early on, playing loads of spells as a Druid isn't really an issue. Seems a tad too situational to be reliable, but interesting design nonetheless. I wonder if the tribe tag will be meaningful for this one
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Might be inconsistent, but there'S more than enough support for it. Scale of Onyxia is good and will be part of every ramp Druid, so the ability to summon 7-drops is already powerful. Even outside of that there should be enough big spells for this to work. Moreover the amount of small Druid spells is significantly reduced post-rotation so you're not even gonna run as many of those that could pollute the pool. At the end it's not like you have to summon a titanic board for this to work, just a few meedium sized minions will do. It only costs 7-mana after all.
Bonus points: It costs 7-mana, so it combos with Zola which we know will be in the Core set.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I can see this work mostly in ramp druid but this could also work in midrange oder other kind of druid decks because it can give lots of value and a board refill ...
very interesting card!
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
So you need to probably cast about 4-5 smaller spells te be worth it, or about 2-3 big spells. That seems really slow. Not only that, but it's a HORRIBLE topdeck. Sure were getting Dredge, so that can help drawing Hedra the Heretic IF she is on the mottom of your deck... but if she's not... Then she will remain a horrible topdeck.
She MIGHT see play if druid gets enough support, However those chances are pretty small. Mainly considering druid legendaries don't see play that often. They need to be very strong to see play. The legendaries druid often uses are neutral after all.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Well, this would probably be op as a Mage card. In Druid, it could still be pretty powerful. I'd assume this summons minions based on the order you play spells, so if you had this in your hand early and played cheap spells at first, the board would be full of cheap minions and it couldn't summon that many big minions. I think many of Druid's big spells are rotating anyway.
Unless we can see some good ramp coming up, I'm not sure of the viability in the rotation environment..
So kinda like a King Phaoris except you want to play the big spells instead of keeping them in hand. Might find a home in a Guff deck, but a lot of good big spells like Cenarion Ward and Survival of the Fittest are leaving standard.
Ofc we have to wait for the core set and the rest of the cards to make a proper evaluation of this card
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
A cheaper King Phaoris, except you get to cast the spells instead of holding them in your hand with the hopes that the 10 mana minion will summon some decent bodies. Instead, it's a 7 mana minion that could summon some big boys depending on what spells you've cast while she was in hand. Just don't cast double Aquatic Form before the expensive spells.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
When this pops off, it pops off. However, looking at the standard spells that are left, nothing is that expensive for big minions. Plus, you might only have smaller spells to cast so you can't get big minions. Not that great I think

Well good thing Survival of the Fittest is rotating out, because this just makes a gigantic board in Ramp Druid... Assuming of course they loaded it up and not just pull it off the top of the deck.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
It seems decent at first glance, but it's far too unreliable. It needs to be in hand, the spells need to be expensive to make it really worth it, and the minions are random. Not sure if it'll see play.
