This is the same as Frizz Kindleroost, but it buffs your totems. The issue with Frizz was that it costed too much and would have a neglible impact on the rest of the game because of how late you would get its effect off. The main difference is that this immediately does something if you have totems out, and in that case its pretty good. It can't ever be good though, because then people would just kill the unbuffed totems. I would call it a good card if she herself were a totem, but she isn't. Also, the lack of decent totem support in standard makes this very underwhelming as well.
Your face is already dead
There needs to be more support before this sees any play at all. The main problem here is that there's barely any totems worth running and even with a buffed up hp, that's still no reason to play a hypothetical aggro-totem shaman deck over the much faster and stronger murloc shaman
That said, this card isn't bad at all. Played at any time and suddenly those useless totems can threaten lethal, maybe even worse with Brilliant Macaw. The main problem here is redundancy; shaman can already do better with other decks, and have more than enough options than to click hp every turn.
But with enough good totems and support, there's some aggro totem deck here somewhere, and this card would be a key member of it.
I always loved Totem Shaman because even tough it wasn't the best deck, it was always kinda fun. So i love this card and hope for more totem support.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
I like this card. I think you can run this card without any support. In the same vein as tech cards, just as a one-off that can generate value once you click your hero power. The biggest down side I see is that it does not synergize with the Brukan hero card.
Even Shaman is going to be getting an overhaul with this card.
I agree with a lot of the other posters about this, there need to be some totem support in Standard for this to not be another Inara Stormcrash or Vessina. A great card with little to no support.
I feel like this could be good if there was a way to tutor it, which there doesn't seem to be as of now.
Also, with Bolner or Brann you could do some really funny stuff and make some massive totems. 11/1 Searing totems anyone?
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I'll assume we'll be seeing more totems and totem synergy, since right now there's basically nothing, and this card is worthless otherwise. Could be good though.
It takes a lot of support to make Totem Shaman even remotely playable. I guess they have to throw Wild the occasional bone, but for Standard it gets 1 star.
This with Witchwood Piper in wild can make some good tutor for enabling the totem party later on
Standard: Seems good with Brilliant Macaw but it's a legendary, which means its going to be hard to draw. I feel like standard totem shaman is just going to be a high-roll deck, with The Stonewright on 4 and turn 5 [Hearthstone Card (Brillaint Macaw) Not Found] (and maybe Bolner Hammerbeak). But the problem is that this highroll DOESN'T win you the game, it just gives you a chance to come back after a bunch of bad turns. Why play a deck that needs to highroll in order to stand a chance at winning, when you can play an actual deck that can win games without highrolling instead?
Wild: EVEN Totem shaman will LOVE this legendary.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Permanent buff that bonify your otherwise lackluster Hero Power, that's pretty good.
Also, totem support keeps being added so it can flourish into Wild?
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Totem Shaman lives and dies on if it can pull this out of the mulligan, and even then I'd think Shaman is better off building around other things.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Finally, the power of totems is about to be unleashed!
