Wow, 3/2 body, ramp, and tutored draw.
Best card in the set for me (so far).
It's not a choose one, so it's automatically better. Although a T3/4 drop with those stats is less than good... grabbing a spell and a mana crystal is pretty solid.
The statline sure isn't impressive, but the double effect that triggers on Battlecry - Nature's spell tutor and mana gain - is pretty useful. I don't see why Druid would sleep on this
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Would have been insane back in the day but now it just feels alright unless you're tutoring a specific Nature spell.
There isn't really a good 6-mana powerplay in Druid so what are you ramping into exactly? I guess Guff whenever you miss your wild Growth, but that's about it.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This will likely see play because Im not seeing druid drop renathal anytime soon. The fact is that druids' feast and famine playstyle, plus the plentiful cards they can draw, means its all pluses not minus with 40 health and 40 cards.
But whenever druid drops the 40 cards, Im not optimistic this card will see any play in ramp. The problem is that druids tend to do only a few things in the first 5 turns, and that formula is solid enough that I dont think there's any room for cards like this one, powerful as it is. And there's so many nature spells worth playing that this card can never realistically draw the thing you want it to draw.
That said, being able to tutor cards can never be underestimated, and this card helpfully tutors Convoke the Spirits and Composting, which is very useful in both aggro and prestor druids.
I hope team5 realises what they are doing. Adding consistency in druids usually means something is getting nerfed. Probably not this one though; a balanced card in an unbalanced class.
I guess this is the replacement for Overgrowth? Except it doesn't ramp as hard. Instead it tutors Nature spells and comes with a weak body.
Okay this is a must-include in any ramp druid deck, and any Celestial Alignment deck.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Actually too much stuff to pack into one card. It gets 5 stars and needs to be nerfed before release. If it makes Celestial decks viable, I shall be very cross.
The only thing keeping me from going all in on Big Things/DR in Druid, because it's like an unconditional Dungeoneer.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Solid card, even given its cost. Might see some play.
Very powerful, ramp with a body plus draw, easily 5 stars
