This is such crap. I had 10 mana and played this and only got one excessive mana card. I understand why since it is one spell to get 2 mana, but both mana crystals should count
By that logic, Astral Communion should give you a full grip of Excess Mana instead of just one if you play it on 10 mana.
And I would be ok with that. I cannot imagine anyone that is playing druid WOULDN'T want that. Can you imagine having 10 excess mana and Kael'Thas on the board?
Back in the day, Nourish at 5 mana saw play for the 2 mana ramp exclusively, but with that same card being more efficient in Quest Druid than this card, we'll have to wait for the quest to rotate out before this starts seeing play.
We'll see if it is really busted as people predict, but a sure thing that the art is superb and the golden animation - perfect.
