    The legendary invitations, according to reddit, are 3 mana and reads, discover a legendary minion from another class. Costs 0

    Perhaps one of the most unexpected cards to be dumped onto paladin, and likely the most interesting cards paladin has gotten for a fairly long time. But is it any good?

    Let's say I can see this being played, because control pally is a thing. But outside of that Im not too sure. The fact is that this is still a 7 mana do nothing and three legendaries the following turn are not a guarantee of results. Plus, its highly likely that paladin has a win con outside of playing good stuff until one of the heads explode, so where does this card feature?

     

    The conditions are fairly tiny, but it does force you to drop Mr. Smite. Then again, why not play both anyway? Unless smite is the forth last card in your deck, you'll likely draw it before this card does anything useful anyway. And your win con remains mr smite, regardless of whether this card is in or not.

    This card gives gas late game. Might see play though somewhat unexciting. Not a fan of the RNG aspect but you get three pulls from the box, so that at least mitigates the impact of the RNG.

    Love this card. Probably my 2nd favorite card this expansion. The deckbuilding restriction is a bit rough coz that means you can't run tech cards like weapon or location removal. But it also has great synergy with Lightray and Elitist Snob.

    Also, those 0 cost Colossals will be quite tough to face and will probably end the game.

    If there is more of a stupidly fun deck to run other than Pure Paladin, I don't want to know what it is.  I can see this being an alternate win condition for paladin.  You probably won't play it on a curve necessarily unless you NEED the other minions. But having an ace up your sleeve for the late game is always a shoe in for control.

    As if it wasn't enough that Rogue impersonates everyone, now Paladin impersonates Rogue.


    It's a decent card but honestly it's just not good enough to beat out Cariel + Smite as a finisher. Random legendaries are fun but a lot of them rely on synergy to do anything. I mean think about what this does when you get Topior, or Lady Darkvein....just nothing.

    I want Pure PAladin to be a thing again, but this just won't do I think. You can't even run it with Brann or ZOlaa because they're neutrals.

    Oh and don't ccome with the "you can run neutrals and just draw them before this". Paladin doesn't have enough draw to make that a viable strategy. You want to play this on 7 and start to pressure with free legendaries. Unless there's a way to tutor Smite or Kazakusan this is just a pipe dream.

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

    I'm not sure Pure Paladin will be as good this time around. Feels like High Exarch Yrel would be more consistently good.

    Well if Pure Paladin would have more support it would be very good. Nonetheless i think this card is at least decent because of the late Game Value. 

    Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!

    It not hard at all to build a Pure Paladin deck, so this deck-building restriction is trivial. The only problem is that she's a 7-drop with no board impact, but Paladin should be able to set up for and recover from that with no trouble. I'll say 5 stars because she just might be good enough to enable Paladin to run more than one type of pure deck.

    Technically 7 mana do nothing when it's played. But paladin has amazing control tools, even in Pure paladin so that downside is not that bad. And those invitations are VERY strong. I think this might be good enough for a lot of paladin decks to actually drop their couple of neutrals and run a pure paladin deck instead. Sure losing Wild Pyromancer so you can run pure paladin will hurt, but i think it might be worth it.

    And in wild this will be a must-include in pure paladin. This is just a way better Lightforged Crusader i.m.o.

    RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

    Weaker Dragonqueen Alexstraza, only Pure Paladin as the requirement instead of Highlander. As good as Paladin cards are, there's still some potent Neutrals like Samuro or Varian that I much rather run over this.
