Seems like a really strong finisher for any Control deck that runs a decent amount of minions of their own. At some point it's basically C'thun + Reno. That'S a legit win condition, even if it doesn't completely finish off your opponent.
Then again, it could also be massive bait and end up just like 2nd C'thun who just comes online too late to matter.
I wonder if you can tutor it fast enough for it to be actually better than Kazakusan in terms of a lategame finisher.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
What about Brilliant Macaw? He repeats the "endlessly infused" battlecry?

This has a great home in Demon Hunter. With all the ways to summon little minions to die... just fuels the hell out of this guy.
The setup, tutor, mana cost - all problems this card has. Power is not a problem. Given enough time, this card would probably just win the game if not make it impossible for your opponent to do so.
Despite it power, this card will likely only ever see play in druid and perhaps shaman, assuming it works the way we'd assume with Brilliant Macaw. Other classes either have problems drawing it, can win without it, or swarming boards, making this card just a weaker Raid Boss Onyxia for the most part.
But seriously, this is a druid card thats incidentally neutral. Swarming boards with spells like Scale of Onyxia, cheap tutoring with Capture Coldtooth Mine, mana ramp. In what respect is any other class able to replicate or match these at all? Hopefully the deck isn't that good on ranked or this might be the straw that breaks the camels back and we'd actually nerf druid to the ground...again
There are many obstacles for this card especially in the deckbuilding phase. Outside of Druid, it will probably only work in a 40/40 deck where you might have the time to use more expensive tutors like [Hearthstone Card (Taelin Fordring) Not Found], and you can fit in another win condition to offset the inevitable Mutanus or poor draw. It combines 2 historically bad effects on the same card ( having to hold a card in hand to get a bonus Blubber Baron and spread damage between enemy minions + face Meteorologist). It is yet to be seen how good infuse will be but I'm not optimistic about it outside of token strategies.
There is some good news for this card though. Lifesteal is one of the best keywords, although I think you will need at least 10 missile damage from the battlecry on average for it to save you if killing your opponent outright isn't the goal. Also, having dredge and tradeable give you more shots at finding this card in your deck.
So I guess Sire Denathrius had to be an insane card coz the expansion is center around him ...his death. He'll probably do really well in Alignment druid or just druid in general coz you can't have enough 10 mana cards with Guff in existence. Also, with Prince Renathal, games will be naturally longer so Denarthrius should see a fair amount of play.
Something to note though is he will require more setup than Onyixa or Neptulon

I wonder if you would want to keep this in your mulligan. Maybe not, but if it stayed in your hand for ten turns in a deck that uses a lot of minions, it could do massive damage and probably win when you play it. I don't see any real mana cheat options for this, since this doesn't have a tribe, and many of them involve summoning the minion from your hand or deck. Might be able to reduce it by 1 or 2 mana.
i HOPE this sees play. I think Volatile Skeleton mage might include it as a finisher, and i'm pretty sure any kind of ramp druid deck will include this because of cards like Flipper Friends, Scale of Onyxia and Raid Boss Onyxia.
The only problem with Sire Denathrius is that he probably sits in hand for quite a while as a "dead card", and sometimes he can be a "dead draw".
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Well with enoug mana (druid for example) you could also Brann him to get the double battlecry. But seems pretty decent on it's own. Not sure were this will fit in tough because you would wanna infuse the hell out of him to have a good payoff.
Maybe in mage with the new skeletons even tough i think that the skeleton Mage will not need him as a finisher. Could see this working in druid with Guff and stuff too ramp up fast. Maybe shaman because of Macaw ?

Druid could get Sire Denathrius very easily with Capture Coldtooth Mine, the rest of classes will have to use Taelan Fordring in order to get it, very powerful for it's lore and flavor and....... coolness of course.
I dislike neutral win conditions that can be played in literally every class, but here we are. Five stars.
"Only works in Druid" isn't exactly a downside. It does work, and it works extremely well. You don't need fancy tricks like Brann, and you don't even really need to ramp. You just need to get him in hand with Capture Coldtooth Mine (the most powerful tutor card of all time), play a bunch of otters and whelps (which nearly all Druid decks do anyway), and you will inevitably get Denathrius big enough to murder any opponent.
This toxic monstrosity needs to be removed from the set before launch, IMO.
Infuse Keyword : "...transform into a more powerful version once the specified number of friendly minions have died while the Infuse card is in your hand."
This minion seems like heck of a finisher, until you realize how conditional it is to have had that many minions dead in the first place, after this was already in your hands ... pretty slow.
