The September season S.W.O.R.D. and S.H.I.E.L.D. is underway, and with it has come a new community event that's all about taking sides: S.H.I.E.L.D. vs Hydra. Players can pick which organization they want to join, then spend the rest of the month helping their team conquer strongholds and, eventually, the world.

- Pick a side. You have until 9/21 19:59 PDT or 9/22 2:59 UTC to decide. Everyone who participates in this event and fights for their team will receive 100 Credits some point after the event has concluded, when feature development has been completed. For more info, be sure to follow the news section or join our Discord.
- Complete missions to earn Event Points. Daily Missions refresh at 20:00 PDT or 3:00 UTC every day, don't forget to claim them.
- Assign your event points to different strongholds, help your team win 2 of the 3 strongholds.
- This event will end 9/28 19:59 PDT or 9/29 2:59 UTC.
Players earn points for their chosen team by completing daily missions, then assign those points to a stronghold. Just like in regular Marvel Snap, the team that wins two of three takes the whole kaboodle. Also, all players who participate in the event get 100 Credits. It's just that easy!*
There's also a pair of Daily Missions that give points for playing with cards that belong to your faction. A helpful tooltip attached to the missions in-game provides the identities of the cards that belong to each faction.
S.H.I.E.L.D.:
On Reveal: Add a random card to your hand.
Ongoing: Your other cards at this location have +1 Power.
On Reveal: Add 3 random 6-Cost cards to your hand.
On Reveal: If you play a card here next turn, +2 Power.
On Reveal: Add a Widow’s Bite to your opponent’s hand.
On Reveal: If this is at the middle location, swap the positions of each location.
Hydra:
On Reveal: Replace this location with a random new one.
Starts in your opening hand.
Ongoing: Enemy cards at this location have +2 Power.
You can only play this at locations where you are winning.
On Reveal: Destroy a random friendly card here; add copies of it to the other locations.
On Reveal: Your opponent draws a card, Set its Cost to 6.
As it currently stands, Hydra is dominating early but S.H.I.E.L.D. has until the end of the month to rally. Go to marvelsnap.com/shieldvshydra to check on their progress.
It's important to note that this event is no longer being featured on the game's main carousel, but don't let that fool you! You can still join in the fun by opening the news section in Marvel Snap. Just make sure you've picked a side by September 21.
Heroes For Hire
Last month's event, Heroes for Hire, has wrapped up with a resounding victory for the forces of good, and in celebration Marvel Snap shared some info about cards and gameplay during the event.

Anyone know when it's going to be available on ios?
Yes! The game is going to release on October 18. It will be available on iOS, Android, and PC. You should be able to pre-register for the game right now in the App Store, and if you do you'll get a cool Variant of Iron Man.
I'm not certain how this is for anybody else. But the mode works very badly for me. And it has a spelling mistake, talking about sending pointes instead of points. Feels like something that was (too) quickly slammed together honestly. But we are still beta so let's see...
