Alright, so this can be discounted thanks to Clownfish and Gorloc Ravager can tutor it from your deck. Which means that this card can be played in a bunch of decks. The main concern i had with new aggresive shaman cards was that it would be worse then the murloc package, but it seems like they want to mix the murloc and undead package into one deck. Either way, this seems like a strong card as those buffs can be quite akward to deal with, unless you got an AOE spell that can remove all minions on board. And you can obviously play this to grant this buff to your board, and then trade in a few minions into taunts whilst not losing out of that much attack.
I think this will see play.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Seems a bit awkward to use, but could be very strong, it's hard to tell.
I tried having fun once.

Looks good on paper, but let's be real here this card is shit.
If you have a board, then surely the correct card to play would be stuff like Bloodlust, or Nofin Can Stop Us, or even Bioluminescence, so why bother playing a card that allows your opponent to interact with your board, as opposed to an instant buff for a win?
The only way this card can be redeemed is that shaman gets a card that triggers deathrattles immediately. And by the looks of the cards they might very well get it because if they dont then this is straight up the worst legendary by a fair mile.
4 synergies in card. (2 tribe + battlecry + the new deathrattle theme)

It's bound to see play at some point.

The fact that you can literally splash this into nearly ANY Shaman board deck is pretty scary. Basically demands other board decks to run Smothering Starfish or suffer getting overwhelmed with stats.

The shaman class is like this: A lot of junk cards but when a strong one comes out it will break the game! This one will break the wild mode! (And the paladin got a junk card!! Why are these trainees making Paladin cards now??)
It is possible to make a new token based deck with Clownfish and Gorloc Ravager to tutor and discount Rotgill to 1 mana. Then just add some sticky minions, hope your opponent doesn't clear your board each turn and bam!
How viable this will be depends on how strong every other class will be, especially DK. I don't think this archetype will be toxic or OP though, my guess, it'll be a tier 2-3 archetype at best.

Assuming your board doesn't get wiped all at once, this could really snowball if you can replace dead minions. I have no clue how this will work out in practice, but it looks like a very nice card.
Really love this one, both the art and the effect. Hope Murloc Shaman becomes awesome again! Mrrggll!
