Probably not good, but lots of fun.
Just to point this out, if you generate extra copies of Rune of the Archmage with Arcane Brilliance you can have this guy cast multiple ones in succession which all target the enemy, making it a great way to burn them to death or just kill yourself with fatigue. The possibilities are endless
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This card is just insane. Not because of its tess-like qualities, but because if you get other broken mage cards like Solid Alibi, Rune of the Archmage, etc. then the game is more or less over. Even just two Rune of the Archmage will suffice as a win con for this card.
It gets even wilder in wild, get Potion of Illusion and make your own shudderwock combo. Aside from the other bs that mage tends to get like Ice Block. Might actually be invincible with the right setup and luck.
No way in hell this card doesn't see play at some point. Its just too good. Game breaking even
Oh boy, this guy will be seeing much play, regardless of it's winrate. This is the life of a casino mage after all. The legendary will be playable only due to it's "fun" factor and not it's consistency, but you can build around this legendary by being clever on which spells to randomly generate, unlike Yogg. Obviously the 2 best high value spells are Drakefire Amulet and Rune of the Archmage.
Overall, quite like this design, gonna be super crazy in wild quest mage where Time Warp is still a menace.

I cannot wait to play against silly-casino mages, playing both Grand Magister Rommath and Magister Dawngrasp, and just spamming whatever spells they have in hands (twice)!

My dream card. Finally a Tess Greymane/Shudderwock kinda card for mage. (Not counting Yogg-Saron, Hope's End and Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate considering those are neutrals.) Being able to repeat all the spells you casted is going to be so much fun! And we all know that Casino mage has been quite decent, considering mage just has a lot of good spells.
In wild this will be so much fun to play alongside Yogg-Saron, Hope's End and Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate! :D
Also i'm kinda happy that this is the Diamond card you get by buying the Tavern pass! This will save me some dust, and will make it so looking at the card while its in my hand will be even more fun. Altough i'm kinda sad at the same time that mage got ANOTHER diamond card, when some other classes barely have any.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Will being able to cast everything you got from The Sunwell a second time make that a good card? I'm not seeing a ton of random spell generation for Mage.
Who cares if it is a game winner... Deck of Lunacy along with C'Thun, the Shattered is going to be just fun with this. Kick in Energy Shaper for an added bonus piece and this is just going to be hilarious. AGain, not sure if it will be competitive, but it certainly looks fun
Tess needed some Buffs to see play, but then again this works off of any card you discover and not just from other classes.
