    Interesting to see how that works with divine shield synergy and enrage and more.

      It's been confirmed that Divine Shield, Frenzy, Deathrattles, etc.; all of them are ignored, because the minion hasn't been played yet to "turn them on", as it were.

  • This card will see play if nothing more than the fact that its a disruption card.

    And true to disruption cards, the fine line between playable and crap starts with the question of how consistent this card can be in sniping out key targets. My verdict is that its really, really good against combo decks, and completely crap against non-combo decks. Because anything that's not combo will likely have at least 4 minions in their hand and sniping out 2 is not really what I would describe as great. Even a singular big minion in hand would easily absorb most of what this card is supposed to be doing, which is to prevent your opponent from playing it in the first place.

    That said however, if it does what it does more consistently than Dirty Rat then its gonna see play. Besides, if youre running highlander you're never gonna drop this card, the one reason for playing highlander in the first place.

     

    I just think its a shame, because if this wasnt a highlander card it'll not only see way more play, it'll also be a legit build around.

  • Really really cool concept, and I could see myself crafting this just because of that. I think it has the potential to be really good, too.

  • So now we have hand damage, eh? Cool. We'll see how well this works.

  • I think that having a disruption card for one of the two payoffs for highlander DH is a choice.  In some matchups, it will do nothing.  In others, it will win you the game.  I don't think it is enough of a payoff for being willing to run a highlander deck for itself.  Maybe you throw it in E.T.C., Band Manager in a deck that draws through all your cards, just to knock out combo decks without going full highlander.

  • A different, much cooler, form of sabotage than the over 'shuffle this, shuffle that' crap.

    Now with Priest, we can 'Lower attack by 2 each shot' form of sabotage.

  • Insanly cool and good card. Highlander DH seems good, especially considering how strong Reno is. And this kind of disruption is also really strong. 100% will see play.

    Also you can just run this in E.T.C. in a non-highlander deck, especially if the "draw tons of cards" DH deck gets more support next year.
