It's the beginning of the new year. How are you going to kick it off? (or perhaps, how have you already started kicking it off?)
The Epic Games Giveaway is still going on. How has the giveaway been for you?

Demon, you can't just start a thread like this and not tell us what YOU'RE playing!
Anyway, I started the new year with some Ghostrunner before switching to some older, can't-find-them-on-the-market games. I'm some way through X-Men Origins Wolverine, and I started Prey 2006, which has some really cool mechanics for the time.
I purchased a Steam Deck, so what I'm gonna be doing is playing with that :D I need to chill with the whole spending-money business, so I won't be buying anything from the Steam Winter Sale; I'll be continuing my Elden Ring adventures, racking up more hours in Borderlands 3, and getting to my backlog.
Happy New Year!
Last night I rang in the new year with buddies playing Raft. It was a game we had all talked about playing several times over the years and bit the Steam sale bullet. Tons of fun, I'm glad we waited though because a common complaint was the game "didn't have enough content". Now? Certainly seems like it did so early access was seemingly a success.
I also started a co-op Far Cry 6 playthrough with a friend. Neither of us have played the game and I never played a game in the Far Cry series and so far, it's been fun. I'm assuming we'll progress a few hours each week so done by the end of the month if schedules work out - fingers crossed.
This month, I'd love to play a bit of WoW, some F1 2023, I've got to continue ARK as well. I'd like to jump into Path of Exile again too, but I just get disappointed because I don't have the time to commit to it.

Doing Honour run with a friend in Baldur's Gate 3. Wasting my free time in League of Legends arena mode, so fast and addictive. Not much beyond that. I wanna get all remaining achievements in cyberpunk eventually and Legend in Hearthstone which i didn't manage to last month. Haven't been feeling great with Hearthstone lately since the decks i liked got nerfed and i had to make new decks. Enrage Warrior was peak fun, rip now tier 4 deck. Odyn warrior was amazing but now the meta deck s a 40 card list and i lost like 10 games in a row not drawing Odyn. DK is forced to run plagues which is fun for a while but again opponent never draws cards and i lose to better wincons. Feelsbadman. But battlegrounds is always fun to throw out when watching a film so there's that.
I'll boop you
Now that the redirect article is up, I'll tell you guys.
The Epic Games giveaway has treated me pretty well even though I've only installed 2 games from it (Art of Rally and The Outer Worlds), but I'm having some really fun times with both games.
Replaying Middle earth shadow of Mordor currently. Great game together with shadow of war if you don't take the story too seriously as it's basically a fan fiction.
Also playing batman arkham asylum for the first time. Cool game so far but it doesn't scratch the same itch for me as middle earth shadow series does.
After that I'll probably replay far cry 4
I'm playing Pokemon Shield Nuzlocke style. I've also recently bought ANNO: Mutationem and am excited to try it out. I normally don't like pixel art games, but this one really piqued my interest. Not sure if I want to finish Pokemon first or if I'll play concurrently.
And I also play Hearthstone, duh.
That's awesome! Have you had any unfortunate deaths yet?

You know those pokemon wandering in Wild Area who has their level way higher than what you can possibly beat? Well, I didn't know, so when I ran into one of those and it wiped my party, I pretended that it didn't happen. Twice. So I'm a shameful cheater.
Other than that only one death so far, 6 gyms finished.
I've rolled the credits on God of War: Ragnarok last week and all I can say is it definitely lives up to all the hype. What a ride.
For now, I'll finish up some side quests in GoW and play Hearthstone. Not sure what's next yet... maybe the last two Jedi games? Diablo IV? We'll see :-)
I notice I am confused. Something I believe isn't true. How do I know what I think I know?

Today I've finally fully completed RolllerCoaster Tycoon 1. It's a journey that's been years in the making, but I've finally done it!
(Mega Park can't be completed because it has no win flag assigned to it. It has no objective to complete, and no matter what you do, it will never be possible to get a checkmark next to it on the menu.)
Two weeks into 2024 and I've broken my resolution to spend less on games and non-essential stuff. I was really down yesterday and bought Roboquest on Steam - it's like Gunfire Reborn in that they're both roguelike FPSes with RPG elements. In my brief time playing it Roboquest feels much faster and more fluid, and has a story whereas GR does not.
If you like looter-shooters such as my favorite, Borderlands, then consider Roboquest as a roguelite version of that.
Have a new computer screen (Been stuck to 720p for way too much time) so I am playing some nice looking games like God of War, Doom Eternal and Chivalry 2. Also Unpacking but not because of it's graphics.
Also played a lot of Pokemon Scarlet lately. The Indigo Disc DLC reignated something that the Teal Mask could not for some reason.
And have to add Fall Guys, Mario Party Superstars and Mario Kart 8 with my Fiance
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
