This card is really strong. Too bad everyone is playing Reno, Lone Ranger and this will just get erased. If not, though, Red Card is great for this!
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Hope they change his name to "Magtheridon, Released" on the 19th.
I wonder if the effect is too late in the game - if your opponent has 5/5s or something, then the 3 damage isn't going to help. I certainly wouldn't want to pay the full price for him.
I think this will be wayyy too slow, but it is a nice concept. I really like the throwback to the original one and this is a really clever use of the dormant mechanic.
As someone pointed out, this will be cleared by Reno most of the times, but this really has potential when that guy rotates.
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
I'm inclined to believe this will be the worst legendary of the set. So on it's own it's extremely slow. With the cost reducing weapon it becomes just okay. Even if dh had a good control deck I don't think this card would cut it as it's just too slow with too little value
This new Mag'theridon guy, I don't mind telling you that he's quite the customer. Comes in here every turn and wrecks my place up, well I don't know how I feel about that. Lot of stats for a 8-Drop, but he might be a bit too slow if you're not using some cost reduction or some other way of cheating him out.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
As Slagmaw has taught us, stats don't really matter. The effect while dormant would have been okay earlier in the game, but at its current cost and without a reliable way to cheat it out, this card is useless :(
I notice I am confused. Something I believe isn't true. How do I know what I think I know?

Doesn't seem very "fun & interactive", especially when DH has many ways to cheat big demons.
It can be fairly strong when it's cheat out, but even then, by the time turn 8 comes around, the 3 damage is likely not going to be that impactful anymore since it won't kill most things by itself. I'm doubtful.
Very fun and engaging card, but i don't think it will be playable
I don't know about this one. The 3 damage doesn't seem impactful and a 12/12 isn't great either.
Seems very slow, but if cheated out it will be a juicer
Red Card for more value
Might be a sleeper hit
Nice stats and effect.
Great to see Magtheridon making a return! This is a very interesting card, specially when playing alongside Red Card. My favorite class is Demon Hunter, so I do hope that they get some love this expansion.
Very fun meme concepts from this guy, but competitive viability seems lacking.
A card that does something while Dormant, that's new. Your opponent will take 6 face damage and there is nothing they can do about it. And afterwards, they'll have to expend quite a bit to avoid taking another 8 damage.
Well, I suppose DH does need a 3rd/5th big demon to fill out the list...
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
