Remember [Hearthstone Card (Pit Fiend) Not Found]? Well he's back! It's weird to me that this is a Chess piece, but also a Demon (same with the Queen). Nice target for cheating out with Nemsy or Crane Game.

This is not working in standar at all. But did we need more stuff for Questline Warlock in wild? Definitelly not...

I don't know, those are really a lot of stats for just 3 mana and not only the healing, but the damage too got quite a bit better over the last couple years. I can see this one getting played in some faster Warlock decks. For slower ones the stats aren't really high enough to become a reasonable summon cheat payoff.
It's Pit Lord, but for 1-Mana less. That card is ancient, and this isn't that much better; I'll pass on this one.
Sure. It's a lot of stats for less Mana, and there's always a chance you can target it with Summon effects to remove the downside. the 6/8 with Taunt is probably better in most cases, however. Unless you're running both...

I don't see this getting played in any format. Wild has better tools and Standard lacks the support for self damage. One of the feelsbadman epics in this set.

Would Pit Lord see play if it was 3 mana? It would probably be okay, but it wouldn't make meta splashes and this card is basically exactly the same as that.
The only reason I rate it 2 stars instead of 1 is because it has really stats for 3 mana, so in theory it aggro out your opponent pretty quickly if they don't have an immediate answer for it. Otherwise, it's not so great.
Handbuff antisynergy!! But for real this is super weak.
Pit Lord with a nuance, maybe will see play with Void Virtuoso
Has potential with 'hero is immune' cards but at that point you may as well just run other cards cause the downside seems a bit big

Until we see a resurgence of self-damage zoo, this card is bad.
I'll say this card is good because we all know it won't actually be played in a way that triggers the Battlecry, it'll just be cheated out. Also, the art is amazing!
*Squints* Hey wait a minute, this is just a Pit Lord! Significantly better being a mana cheaper, but that's a very low bar to overcome.

Warlock has a history of self-damage. I'm not so sure there's much going for it right now, so this probably won't be great. Though it would be pretty hard to deal with if you played in on turn 3, but is it worth 5 damage to your face?
