What Are You Playing? June 2024
I'm currently still working through Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door; it's every bit as wonderful as my memory of it from 20 years ago would indicate :D
Edit: Defeated the final boss, so I guess it's just wrap-up time with the Pit of 100 Trials and getting everything else I missed.
Three weeks from now, Shadow of the Erdtree will release for Elden Ring, and I will very much be in line for that. In the meantime, I'll finish TTYD, write a review of it, and see where the rest of the month takes me. I've got all sorts of stuff I could play, and I can't help myself but add more to pile over time lol.
I was thinking of doing some "Timely Reviews" of older games, to fill in the gap: my first idea was Bug Fables, because it's like Paper Mario and it could be fun to review a similar game I've never played. That would of course involve buying yet-another game, so we'll see. I was also thinking of reviewing Wildermyth, now that the developers have finished working on it and gone into "hibernation"/shut down(?). Any suggestions would be welcome!

First off, happy pride everyone!
As for what I'm playing, I've been swamped in schoolwork so not a lot, but I've been finding time. If you remember last month when I started by posting my new FNV playthrough... I'm up to doing Old World Blues there. Damn robo-enemies!
No big changes here since last month. I've played some Jedi: Fallen Order but it's not really pulling me in. Hearthstone still makes up 95% of my game time, which has been reduced quite a bit in favor of sports and reading lately. Which reminds me to add an update to the Books thread as well.
It's probably still a long way to go, but I am planning to get one of the new Nintendo Switch consoles. I've been aching to replay some old classics like Ocarina of Time, Portal or Mario games. Let's hope Nintendo does the smart thing and releases it before Christmas (I doubt it)!
I notice I am confused. Something I believe isn't true. How do I know what I think I know?

With TTYD in the rearview, more or less, I've realized I need to flex my Elden Ring muscles again in time for Shadow of the Erdtree. I am very rusty, and that'll be no-bueno heading into a new environment that's expected to be even more of a challenge from the outset! Need to decide soon how I want to proceed:
Still going with AC. Brotherhood incredibly, had really no time for games with work this last two months.
Today I am planning on checking out Hogwarts Legacy's mini summer update.
If everything goes well, this coming week I should be able to play a little bit more and if possible will include some NFS Unleashed, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R and Minimotorways into the mix as playing mostly just Hearthstone and Pokemon Masters on the way work and AC Brotherhood is getting repetitive.
Still hoping I finish AC:Brotherhood and delve into horizon zero dawn
Edit before posting: Forget the "Mini" on Hogwarts Legacy. Content wise it will be little but size wise....
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
Not sure where I thought I would find the time to play Bug Fables or (something else) and review it, when Steam's Next Fest happened and I'm still working to get ready for Shadow of the Erdtree lol. Lots I want to do, so little time to see it through.
