You lose one shot of damage from Arcane Missiles, but in exchange you get two more uses without taking up an extra spot in your deck. I think this is worth running - at the very least you've got myriad sources of Spell Damage that can pump up the jam and make your opponent really annoyed.
Sleeper card? Looks very solid to me as it can go face, produces value, is super cheap and scales with spell damage. Sif Mage might want to run this.
I guess Spell Damage makes this good. Otherwise, I'm not sold on 6 randomly split damage for 3 Mana. Randomly split is the issue here. A 3 Mana Fireball would be insane.
