    This feels like really strong removal for all sorts of Mage decks (except perhaps Big Spells) and I'd imagine we see this a lot. It's good board control in the early game and can answer a decently chunky minion or two in the midgame or soften up the board to be finished off with some other cheap spell. Will see play.

    I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.

    Defile but backwards? Kinda? At first I thought this would only repeat once, but it probably goes off until something dies and that's a pretty strong effect. Big yes for No minions Mage, probably also goes into most other archetypes.

    I notice I am confused. Something I believe isn't true. How do I know what I think I know?

    Definitely not so great if there are weak low-Health minions on the board. I'll have to see how well this works out, but I imagine it requiring some setup.
