At least it's a dragon, I guess?
Dragon Taunt Warrior! I'm definitely going to give it a shot!
"True mastery takes dedication."
Untargetable taunts can be tricky to answer.
If Shadows could cast Light
Goodbye Sogoth
Imagine getting powercreeped by a common card LMAO
Poor War Golem.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
At first, I misread it as "Elusive Drakonid", which would've been perfect with the effect.
Also good in a Dragon Paladin deck alongside Dragon Speaker and Glowstone Technician!
The pleasure is mine.
My last standard decks: nothing special right now.
It's a card I think you're happy to see generated from other effects. You'd have to be a fairly dedicated dragon deck to want this. But it's a really fine card.
I wish they would have called this "Elusive Drakonid", the cries for having this as a keyword would have been deafening.
A puzzle box? What does it say? ... Yogi-Saffron something... sure, let's open it, what is the worst that could happen?
Would be nice to Emeriss this one in Dragon Hunter.
Now this is a really cool card! Annoying, fat, common and a dragon. One of my favourites already.
Never netdeck, craft Whizbang instead!
really strong and solid card. taunt with (elusive) is always good
Amazing card! Heavy taunt that can't be targeted by spells!
Not easy to remove. With all the big new creatures, could we see the return of Big Game Hunter?

Another 5-star card here - just great all around. Friendship ended with Wyrmguard, new best friend here for basically ANY Dragon deck.
Pack filler :(.
Not necessarily run in the deck itself, but I see this card being dropped a lot via discover effects. Heavily considering putting it in my Fire Plume's Heart deck.
Talking as a degenerate who play aggro overload evolve shaman, I can clearly say that I would have a hard time dealing with this card, without either loosing my board, or wasting a bloodlust (and also loosing half my board).
Now, people won't include this in their decks, but they will search for it with the new expansion keyword "discover a dragon". And all the rogues, shamans, mages, warriors, druids and other spell removal classes will have hard time with it.
So overall, a great card to discover
This is some serious powercreep and a slap in the face to some older cards. However, I think it is okish, not too bad. Taunt that can´t be targeted can help you a lot in a clutch.
I've always wanted a good Soggoth, another decent dragon to get from discover effects.
Soggoth the Slitherer cries in a corner with Steamwheedle Sniper and Cobra Shot.
Strong for a "random" Dragon kind of thing, but I don't think people will effectively run this in their deck. Artwork kinda reminds me of the Blackrock Mountain adventure.
Good target from discover, and CAN be a little annoying to deal, but I don't think there's room for this in any dragon deck.
I'm sorry for my bad english :)
Maybe taunt warrior can make it better than just good with Armagedilloand other buffs?
Giant untargetable taunt with a relevant minion type? This seems awesome in every way. It might be too slow to be good in standard if aggro is everywhere but otherwise it seems great.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
Dragonspeaker it once and it's Super-Soggoth.
Warrior can get it even higher.
Yeah, i wouldn't count this out, Untargetable is a HUGE roadblock for many classes. Hell, even if this gets silenced you still have a 7/7.
just for reference, how does Rogue deal with this as a 10/10? Gotta run that Leeroy in there. Mage can't Poly it and Crowd Roaster doesn't do the job.
Ironically enough Druid probably has the best way of getting past this efficiently through Oasis Surger and Loti.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Describing this card in one word: "meh", not bad per se, but meh
Good, solid card. Always playable, but there will probably be A LOT of crazy strong cards at the higher mana spots so we'll see how many decks that actuallt will include this.
I honestly think this card is playable. The best time to drop him is when the total attack value of enemy minions is equal to or less than six. The seven attack means that it will likely kill whatever it trades into, so if your opponent can't kill it right away, chances are they won't bother punching it at all. So if you can drop this on just the right board, and have it survive a turn, it will not be hard to keep him alive to possibly hit your opponent's face once or twice more.
And if the perfect time to play him never arises, then you just hold him in your hand and enjoy the benefits of all your dragon synergy cards. A dragon doesn't have to consistently played, it just has to be consistently drawn for it to be worth it.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
I can't wait to summon with Woecleaver and Deathwing in Wild.
Pretty bad, but if you discover it, it can be tricky
It’s fine but not exciting. Maybe some dragon decks will use it to smooth out their curve. It will definitely go on the board due to Discover cards.
A filler card most likely a high value pick in arena..don't see potential in this card for standard..
B-I-N-G-O!!!
Powercreep, here it is : Diagonal Bingo!
And the reveal season is just starting :P
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Evasive Drakonid looks good for decks which can buff him somehow. It might fit in warrior Galakrond deck or dragon paladin if those archetypes will exist. Anyway it's a nice card to try at the expansion start.
really strong in arena, i don´t know if it would be useful in constructed
Well it annoys me mainly because I crafted Soggoth a little while ago for my taunt Druid, but this seems decent enough. Soggoth was a difficult card to deal with most of the time and this will probably be the same
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Big minions with cool abilities are awesome, even it sucks to add it in constructed deck, I would atleast able to get it from the discover effect. From the discover pool, it's gonna be a top-tier card to get picked, and bonus point if your having good time to reach till turn 7, that's a huge assurance to outtempo your opponent.
But... since it's a common rarity, I think there will be more powerful dragons than this one. Blizzard wants to get our cash into the epic cards.
Very nice minion to keep you safe and possibly clearing some board from your opponent when they remove this guy.
This card is like a nightmare for control decks that heavily rely on spells.
Versus other decks i don't see it very good, because 7 mana it means that it comes maybe too late.
Still the fact that you can discover this when facing control decks is a good thing by itself.
A deceptively powerful card, Soggoth the Slitherer did see fringe play and this card is simply better.
I feel this card will work best in Paladin. Dragon Speaker and Dragonrider Talritha will really love to hit this guy, and if either of them do it will be a absolute pain for so many decks to deal with.
Looks like an arena pack filler, but I genuinely see this card being played.
Really good, will help dragon decks get to the late game. Better than similar cards from the past that I enjoyed playing. 5 stars
Cool, but it probably won't see much play outside arena.
İts a better soggoth big shaman and paladin will run this.
like the other one, i think this card is only played through discover, not actually included in your decklist
It's not a super flashy card, but it's a solid taunt. This card can be a nice addition in the right deck and meta, and the dragon tag add some extra value
Since its neutral I think this will mostly see play through the new lackey that diacovers dragons.
this weirdly looks like a strong card. looks hard to kill on a taunt minion.
Bundle enough stats and keywords and a card will be good. Maybe this is playable, it's certainly a good card to pull from a random effect.
A nice card to try out in a taunt/dragon warrior deck, but other than that, I don't think you'll want to run this card in your deck.
More dragons? Yes please!
wont put it in a deck but good from random effects
Seems sufficiently difficult to deal with. May be run with some mana cheating cards
Not worth a deck slot, but OK when generated, like most dragons. Nice to see an evasive Taunt though.
so better soggoth which isn't saying much it's like improving garbage but it will still be garbage just nicer garbage I could see this being run a bit but not too much fairly balanced which is nice
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
This is certainly not the best dragon, but it may find a spot in a heavy dragon deck. Also a solid arena card, which is strictly better than Boulderfist Ogre.
A very vanilla card. The combination of Taunt and “can’t be targeted” (seriously, why is Evasive/Elusive not a keyword yet?) is potentially a very strong roadblock. I’d be a bit more optimistic about this card if we didn’t get Dragonmaw Poacher in literally the same expansion. The 4 mana 8/8 with Rush will murder Evasive Drakonid and survive with 1 health, and leave your opponent with 3 to 4 mana to play something else.
Jaina is best waifu. Always.
Slightly better Soggoth I guess
I'd say it's definitely THE Arena card of this xpac. Big Body, Taunt and save from Removal (which is game winning in most games).

The only deck that can include this card is Taunt Warrior. It can also find a place in Paladin Duel decks or Big Shaman but I don't think it'll see a lot of play. If you get it from a discover effect that's another story.
Super good in arena, but may not see play on ladder being too slow.
Poor Soggoth the Slitherer, power creep hit him very hard in shape of this common dragon. Combination of big stats, taunt, untargetable and dragon can push him even to constructed play. In arena it's of course nuts.
Fun and interactive game.
...did you see where they almost put "Evasive" in the card name but then backed down? We need a keyword for this!
