Excuse me?
This is basically Prince Keleseth with no deckbuilding restrictions and vanilla stats. That's kind of ridiculous. LIke....get this on turn 4 and probably win the game ridiculous
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Yet another completely crazy card for this set, should be auto include in every single dragon deck going forward, not much more to say than that really.
What......THE FUCK.....is this broken ass BS??? Unbelievable. They've lost their damn minds.
Imagine triggering the effect multiple times!

I can’t wait to play this set. My first ever deck was dragon priest. Love all of the dragon synergy. Also I really like the year long story and 5 E.V.I.L. classes vs 4 league of explorers.
I could see a Malygos or an Alexstrasza combo with this, though the card can be slammed into every deagon-heavy deck.
Exactly....Shaman is going to be trouble with CTW
Well this changes everything...gotta find a way to fit this card in all my dragon theorycraft decks...also I don't really wanna use dust on this sooo I'm gonna be out of luck but this is 5 stars pretty broken too in any solid dragon deck. A rogue dragon deck can make this card even crazier.
Kenny's little poet. 😇
Well, definitely the first must have card I have seen from the set
This card is pretty good. :D
Thanks for the idea kinda wanna theorycraft that but the thing is if you draw maly early it messes up your plan but I guess you could just get a coin from the double invoke card.
Kenny's little poet. 😇
I'd say it's one of the strongest cards of the expansion right now! It has great stats and an insane battlecry for any dragon deck and it's gonna synergize very well with warrior's Galakrond. A strong argument for dragons to be one of the dominant powers in a new meta.
Vanilla stats with great effect. Worth with even one-two dragons discounted.
-=alfi=-
While I love more neutral dragon synergy cards, this is going to be very annoying when your opponent gets to play this on curve and you are still waiting on drawing yours, just like with Prince Keleseth.
The card itself is very strong with good stats and an amazing battlecry for any dragon deck or dragon related combos.
More dragons? Yes please!
Team 5....ya dun FUCKED it up!! They didn't learn from Keleseth. What is wrong with them? Assholes.
Wow...keleseth, luna pocket re-nerf...lesson learnt! Good job! :(
Finally... God damn broken cards are back.
I was waiting this expansion since KoFt and K&C, because the last two years has been very underwheelning for me.
Seemed that team7 were more more focused on making HS balanced instead of making it fun.
Rogue shadow stepping this might get insane. Wow with a spirit of shark the turn before even more s
I start having a bad feeling for this set...
What's the point of so much powercreep?!?
I do like the idea of more Dragon decks, but was this card necessary?
At just (4)? With full vanilla body?
As if mana discounts weren't already obviously flawed (ie Wild)...
PS: should have been a Highlander card.
Might be a good golden craft
But why?
I would expect a deck restriction here...
If your deck contains only dragons.. Would be a nice restriction.. But why... Is this just that?
Seems too strong to me.
It's pretty good but also pretty boring. I prefer to craft an unique legendary, like the new alexstraza or kronx
I like the artwork... So, said something nice. Day two into the expansion, people will start crying for a nerf.
Turn 2 Prince Keleseth, Turn 4 this. Will try for sure:)
I do what I must, when I must. Know this well.
I like it, but I also smell much potential for it to be abused.
Granted, it's 1 of 30 in a deck and can always be in that last third.
Put it into the betting pool for New Card Most Likely to be Nerfed.
Good stats and very strong effect.I think this will see play in Dragon decks for sure!
A must for every dragon deck. And the thing that it reduces the cost of the dragons in the deck and not in your hand is huge.

EU Legend: S52 (ZooHeal Lock); S76 (Highlander Hunter);
Dragon Priest was my favorite! It's the reason why I have a golden priest right now.
Kenny's little poet. 😇
The motto for this expansion: OP cards with no drawbacks, because why not?
Kenny's little poet. 😇
This. This is what you call broken. With cards like Shadowstep and Seance, you can get some dragons down to 0 mana. The power level of this expansion rivals Frozen Throne and Kobolds
Well it's over
As other cards with similar effect, is balanced by the need to actually draw and play it while its mana cost prevent early play. But to get tons of value from it you have to run a big numbers of dragon in your deck, so it may not be so oppressive as it seems.
"For what profit is it to a man if he gains the world, and loses his own soul?"
This is probably one of the most broken cards I've seen recently! On wild and standard this will dominate!
OMG. This is insane. The card has good stats and makes you suffer a small tempo lost for what? Incredible late game, combos, the battlecry could be repeated...And it's neutral! Another card that will be played in all the dragon decks and probably safe day one craft! :O
Unless you have Dragons left in the deck, this card is always very strong. Stats are very good as well.
Now this is what I call a meta defining card. It will be used and abused. This will be so sick that it will
probably be nerfed after a few weeks...
A good stated card with broken battlecry.
Just shut up and take my money, Blizzard.
By The Holy Light!
Looks strong, and great stats for a 4 mana aswell. This card is 100 out of 100. Maybe golden craft potential if the animation is cool..
More cards i see more i hate this exp. broken shit everywhere, sorry, if i ruin hype, but i do not wonna play game with such power level. Ir's unfair and unfun.
Really, really good. Crazy value when played on curve if you have enough dragons in your deck.
Frizz Kindleroost is absurd - vanilla statline and a (potentially) massive cost reduction across the cards in your deck. It's kind of silly that Blizzard keeps printing these high-roll type cards, despite constantly finding that they're frustrating to players...Maybe this time it's better because a) mana cheating is something every deck can get value out of, and b) every class has a Dragon archetype this expansion.
The classes which most easily abuse this discount: Warrior (with War Master Voone after you draw the discounted cards), Rogue (with its various bounce and shuffle tools to make tons of cheap dragons), and Shaman (with Corrupt the Waters and Shudderwock)
this card is so broken, meta defining for sure
This is a must in dragon decks..decent stats for its equivalent cost..best of all reduces dragon cost..I mean what instant Emperor x2 on your dragons in hand is worth..
Great in a Murloc deck. Even better in a Dragon deck.
holy shit, there's zero drawback . insane card 5/5
So glad that it didn't reduce the cost in the hand, but still insane.
Bet there are some more good cards hiding around like this one.
This card has no downside and has a very Strong effect. Every dragon deck Will run it. The stats are good, there is absolutely no reason not to play it with some dragons in the deck. Its just so lame... There Will be no decisions in making a dragon deck? Just put in the autoincludes and voila? I love theorycrafting decks but these type of cards just crushes peoples imagination and creativity.
Never netdeck, craft Whizbang instead!
Very good .. omg, huge support for dragon decks <3
I'm sorry for my bad english :)
Apply this too to every extreme powerful cards.
Some cards can even make a deck on its own. I would say the 5/4 stat is pretty weak because the vanilla stat isn't going to impact the game much than it before, but I could be wrong since I don't play this current meta nowadays.
I think people are overrating this card quite a lot, i personally voted this 1 star.
For make this card good you have to run a ridicolous amount of dragons (you want to draw them almost every turn!) , basically to justify including this card on your deck you have to play an horrible deck in the the first place.
Kaleseth and Luna's pocket galaxy aren't comparable at all with this (and I'm super happy about it), because the decks where they are played are good regardless, and become broken when they are drawn.
For this card to reach the power level of Kaleseth or Luna's you have to have a deck with like 15+ dragons that works, that deck isn't going anywhere.
I'm pretty sure that this card won't see much play after the meta settles.
Witchwood Piper and Call to Adventure's new friend!!
Why do you think that a deck with 15+ dragons is horrible?
There has been many tier1 decks in HS history with more than 15 dragons.
By The Holy Light!
Wow, surely an auto-include in every dragon deck. Maybe if everyone is running dragons it kind of evens itself out? Otherwise it looks very powerful!
Hearthstone fan. Arch-nemesis: wifi drop-outs.
It never existed a tier 1 deck with 15+ dragon in it, if i remember correctly.
the decks that played the highest number of dragons and were quite strong were tempo dragon warrior and tempo dragon priest (called simply dragon priest) they didn't reach at all 15+ dragons and plus these dragons where good in a tempo deck specifically (the 3/6 with taunt for 4 mana, the 2/3 for 1 mama for priest, the non-dragon 2/4 taunt for 2 mana for priest). Those decks played like 10 to 12 dragons
Then basically existed only dragon priest, with two versions, one combo (inner fire) and one control, both played from 7 to 8 dragons.
I remember specifically (played a lot of control dragon priest) that trying to run more dragons just to make the "having a dragon in hand" requirement more consistent did make the deck a lot worse, so I'm sceptical that running a ridicolous amount of dragons is a good thing per se
EDIT: this was an answer to UVE, i clicked on reply under his post but it seems it didn't work
Nonetheless, there is no way in the world that this card is worth just 1/5.
Even without the Battlecry, it would be a 2/5 at the very least.
With the Battlecry, it is at least a 3/5, up to 4/5 on paper.
The new Alexstrasza looked pretty broken even without this guy, imagine playing her at turn 7 (6 with coin) =D
Good stats, great effect. It's legendary minion, so you can run only one copy... but I think it'll be played for sure
Wow what else can I say if you play dragons you play this the upside is just too good and vanilla stats to boot pinch me I must be dreaming
I think is more a personal way of rating cards at this point.
Without the battlecry this is a 5/4 for 4 mana, is not the absolute worst, but I would just never vote this card 2 star just because the stats are ok-ish for what you payed. I'd vote that card 1 star because it isn't included in any deck/ you have literally zero reason to run that.
But i see what you mean (like If you randomly have this card in hand and is the best play you play it and don't feel super bad about it), as i said is a different way to evaluate cards
In wild, this will be nuts. Not sure about standard. It all depends if/when you draw it.
But if you do draw it, get ready to have a huge tempo advantage. The power level on these cards reminds me a lot of Kobolds and Catacombs. Hopefully many classes are viable this time around as opposed to just cubelock all day long
This is just a bonkers, off the charts, good card in a set that is full of bonkers cards. But even in the context of the other bonkers cards, this one is still the most bonkers.
UH OH!!!! This card is busted. Sure, it's a Legendary, so only one copy and you might draw it very late, after you've already drawn your Dragons. However, with a slow enough deck you can safely mulligan for this card and its effect is quite strong for any Dragon deck. Dragons are generally mid- or late-game minions, so -2 Mana is significant for most of them.
Well, a 4 mana 5/4 isn't bad. And the effect will be relevant later in the game. 2 mana is no joke, you know all of those dragons who have powerful effects but are maybe just a little too slow? well now they are all playable.
This doesn't hit dragons in your hand, which does make him a little slower. But playing a 5/4 on turn 4 won't put you behind by much. And even later, 4 mana is not a bad cost to get so much value later.
I will probably end up crafting this guy, he is just too much value not to include.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Very big highroll to play this on 4. I'm surprised there's no condition to meet
Ah yes a keleseth with 2 drops very op.auto include in dragon decks.
You don't need this to discount 30 mana for it to be worthwhile. In fact, as a 4 mana 5/4, it barely has to do anything to be a playable card, and reducing expensive dragons in your deck by 2 is a hell of a lot more than nothing. People play Emperor Thaurisan to get a couple of cards reduced by 1, and that's a 6 mana 5/5. Reducing mana costs is one of the most consistently busted mechanics in the game.
we got a winner. this card will be nerfed. safe craft dust wise
This expansion's decks will be soo greedy and super expensive reno dragon decks with super high roll tempo cards. Even Ysera can return to standard.
We are on an agreement that cheating mana cost is one of the most bust mechanics in the game, no doubts.
But i think i've been misunderstood, what i mean with the example of the 15+ dragon is that to even remotely compare this card to Luna's or Keleseth (i always mispronounce him KAleseth) you have to play it in a deck with a ridicolous amount of dragons.
Is obvious that those decks will not be as strong as the ones that did play/are playing Keleset or Luna's, my point was basically that this card is not the new Keleseth (and, again, i hope that a "new Keleseth" will never be a thing) because the decks where his power level is comparable to Keleseth aren't good, while the decks that played Keleseth are good even without him, he just brings them to another level.
I actually builded a druid deck and a paladin deck with a lot of dragons to see how a deck that focus on making Frizz very powerful would look like, you can see them in my page here.
Now i'll try to explain why i think this card isn't good.
Realistically a dragon deck would not run more than 8 dragons (unless they start reveal a good amount of very good low cost dragons from now), but let's say a good deck that runs 10 dragons will exist;
You spend your turn 4 to play a 5/4, which isn't super bad, but we can't pretend that is good either because the 5/4 isn't a good body versus aggro decks. The problems come after, with 10 dragons in the deck you should have already drawn 2-3 of them, so in the deck there are like 7-8 dragons. Is already turn 5 when you'll draw the next card, the game will not last much longer, so most of the time you will not even draw a dragon before the game ends. Or just draw one, and in that case the reduction in cost has to matter, otherwise if the cost reduction didn't matter the card still didn't nothing (the counterargument is that it always grant at least a "free" hero power).
So basically even in games where you drop this on turn 4 the card did very litte, at some point people will start putting a card that does something instead of this one. I can be wrong, but i suggest people to wait a while before insta-craft this.
I think the comparison with Emperor is not a good one, because discounting the cards on hand means that you are guaranteed that the cost reduction will matter (and it makes every kind of combos possible, as you decide what to reduce).
Time will tell, but i hope that maybe this time i was more clear about why i think this card is bad
I think it's a good card, but not necessarily an "insta-craft". Down the line Frizz might be considered overkill, or too greedy a play. It also has the Prince Keleseth/Luna's Pocket Galaxy problem in-that you need to play it as early as possible. I would wait and see before rushing to craft it.
Any deck that can draw relatively fast can profit really strongly of of this,
Other decks will also profit decently but for it really to pay off big you gotta have alot of dragons in it.
Strong card overall the body the effect the fact that lategame this card might not be of alot of use is incomparable to the buff you get when you do get this on curve.
I could see this either as a tempo play, or with banker's to enable combos. Not as strong as galaxy in effect, but it also leaves behind a solid body. Toss in spirit of the shark or brann, and you can get some really crazy things going.
This card is no doubt meta defining.
Now the real question is, how much it will affect the meta. Initially I thought of it a Prince Keleseth that would be used in midrange decks filled with dragons. But as more dragons started to appear, more uses to this card would come to. I then remembered that in shaman with quest one could make a highlander version running new alextraza, and lets not forget that malygos is still a thing.
I consider this to be the most meta defining card so far in the expansion, and one that will receive the community cries for NERF.
Umm... Kronx Dragonhoof says hello.
We were all going to play Dragon-Decks anyway, no need for such a strong incentive to do so !
I think this is on the broken side of the fence
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
I really don't like Blizzard's design philosophy with how they just print completely broken cards to support new archetypes that they abandoned in all the previous sets and likely aren't going to support in future ones. I wish they had spread out these insane dragon synergy cards over the course of the entire year rather than dumping them all in one set, that way they could have made sure that dragon decks wouldn't be too overpowered. Also, I don't like cards like these (including Keleseth and Lady in White) that encourage huge draw RNG by being crazily broken and deciding games based on whether or not they are drawn. Now, a dragon mirror could be decided entirely based on which player draws Frizz Kindleroost first
We get it blizzard, you REALLY want us to play dragons and Galakrond
abnormally strong!!! works with shaman quest, spirit of the shark, banker or brewmaster...geeezz team 5...
Well now! Thats a card! Auto include in every dragon deck from now on.
Bingo. Turn 6, that dragon, and TWO zero-cost dragons (many of which have battlecry effects.)
This card will be the new pocket galaxy.
I personally think this card is a lot more balanced than Prince Keleseth. If you get keleseth on curve then right on turn 1-2 you have a huge bonus to get stats on the board way ahead of the curve. Frizz comes out 2 turns later, and 'dragons' is much less broad than 'minions'. Plus, getting a minion two turns sooner isn't as big when it happens on turn 7.
This card will be powerful, but it will not be as troublesome as some people make it out to be.
This is not entirely irreplaceable in every dragon deck, this will not be completely busted and break the meta, games will not be decided with who gets their Frizz out first. This will be powerful, but not game breaking.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Rise Prince Keleseth 2.0 😱
Spells are fun, SO FUN
mana cheat... im starting to dread next xpac, these dragon decks are looking oppressive and expensive, just like most of the quest decks in uldum
Always nice to see them do more cost reduction stuff, since that’s never caused problems in the past
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Incredibly powerful. I would expect it should be at least 5 mana.
I already hate it. It single-handedly makes dragon decks viable, but what I hate about it is that games will usually be decided over who draws and plays this first. It's even got good stats for its mana cost. To quote from Dr. Strangelove, this card is terrifying, and simple to understand.
Quest Shaman 6-mana reduce all Dragons by 4? And transform potential?
No crazy stuff here!
Yes, looks horrible for the budget players. For any viable dragon deck, you'll need some 3 good big dragons as a wincondition, the complete set of matching spells and early game minions, and assorted handdragons. Most impactful cards are epic or legendary, with a lot of must-crafts like this one.
Will see SO MUCH play given the powercreep of this set. A solid contender for "most playable" and a clear winner (so far anyway) for "strongest neutral card".
i think we've all seen that highroll cards like this, luna's and keleseth are all insane. this'll probably be played in every deck that runs 5+ dragons
Very good card for dragon decks. According to the previous comments most people think this is OP and will most likely be nerfed after a short time. I am not so sure to be honest. Yes, it is powerful, but restricted to dragon decks only.
As my buddy said, get ready for the Elise Malygos combos from druid
Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
This card is definitely powerful and makes all the Dragon decks better, however it is worth noting it only reduces the costs in deck, not hand. That does mean a lot in terms of how much value you can get out of it.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
This is straight up OP, not very interesting next to that.
Yeah this is definitely the new Prince Keleseth when played on curve.
Queue the angry players that will predict drawing this card last in their decks..... NOW!!!!
Highlander Dragon Quest Shaman is going to be a thing. I’m so glad Shudderwock isn’t a dragon.
Even if you draw this last, it still has good stats.
This is like a second prince keleseth. Extremely broken if you can play it on curve :(
Wow...Well, with this card we can be sure that Malygos will be sent to hall of fame soon and it's an auto-include in every dragon deck XD
Joke apart, this is super strong. In dragon deck give us huge huge huge tempo advantage. It's broken
0 mana Faerie Dragon, but jokes aside this seems like a very strong card that will be an almost autoinclude in every dragon deck.
This is going in lots of decks. Have him in your opening hand as a druid with the new Keleseth spell. Add in a panda for extra shenanigans. Obviously, the earlier it gets played the better the value.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Everyone is freaking out about this card, yes it's going to be played in every dragon deck ever, but there is always the possibility of drawing this to late, similar to Luna's Pocket Galaxy. And is definitely not as good as the 5 mana version of Luna's, the mana discount is not as high and you can't really tooter this one out of your deck. And if everyone plays this card beacuse it'soverpowered, I'm pretty sure Blizzard will do something about it in 1,5 months after the expansion.
5/4 for 4 is not terrible and the effect is great value even with a couple of dragons in the deck.
Definitely going into my even dragon druid.
I really don't care what the all web says about this card.
It is just another avarage card that can be good in some situations.
it is not Prince Keleseth-level of broken. All people are overestimating this card.
Ok card is good but not broken. If you want to see a broken card in this expansion, See Dragonmaw Poacher. It is the only safe-craft in this expansion. Even it won't be nerfed, it will be great in the dragon meta.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
Do NOT disenchant this. Reducing your mana cost is the BEST effect in the game. Period. Reducing huge dragons cost? It's ridiculous. It will find at least one spot in a tier 1 deck and cause the misery of a lot of people. Double Kel without any building restriction besides of course, running dragons. Right. I honestly don't know how I'm gonna cope with that expansion as f2p : there's too many good/busted cards.
Elders Scrolls : Legends / Runeterra
I think some people is overestimating the card.
Great value in decks with good card draw. Will likely see play
Wonderful effect beautiful curve and sweet stats. The effect allows more dragons in a turn or big ones earlier and enabled more malygos shenagagines with some bouncy effects she could make your whole deck free since the main focus of this expac is dragons I expect to see her in every deck. And as a bonus I love the art
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
Mini Luna's, but for dragon decks. I don't know, we'll need to see it in action to be sure. It will most likely at some point be super broken, but maybe something else will beat it quickly. Definitely not bad, that's for sure.
On the first sight, this card looks way too strong. But maybe dragon decks need such a powerful card to compete with more aggressive decks.
Yep this card makes dragons very scary, thought it might be a little too slow against aggro decks like pirate warrior.
Going to be an annoying card for sure. The reduction is potentially huge but like Keleseth, like Pocket Galaxy, there’s going to be games where this card just doesn’t show up until it’s too late. Almost certainly still worth running if you have a critical mass of dragon cards.
Jaina is best waifu. Always.
Very, very exciting card. Not for every deck, but getting things like Emeriss and new Alextrazsa 2 turns earlier is super strong. I will craft this one for sure.
Autoinclude for dragon decks, which should be everywhere.
Instant craft if you plan to play dragon decks. It's an insane card. The greatest of the expansion.
Value of this card comes higher and higher with every dragon you put in the deck. Even the stats are fair. I can't see any downside, autoinculude in dragon decks.
Fun and interactive game.
this card is already good if it discounts 2-3 dragons. so definitely important for all dragon decks
I will definitely be giving this a try in my mage dragon deck.
