So it's a Voidcaller for Ilidan, but with worse stats for its cost and effect. Not sure, if this card will see play unless there are a lot of strong demons like that 9-mana demon, then maybe.
We'd never print another Voidcaller, we know better now"

Jokes aside, this seems a bit weak. 6-mana is quite the commitment and while the statline makes it so your opponent is effectively forced to deal with it or suffer the consequences it still feels a bit awkward.
If Big Demon Demon Hunter (BDDH, Christ, that sounds like subcategory on Pornhub) is gonna be a thing they'll probably use this just fr consistency's sake.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Bad card. Effect is too late to cheat out big minions
Demon Summoner more than Demon Hunter...
I'd have loved if Demon Hunter had cards with Muck Hunter mechanic: summon Demons on opposite side (you find hidden Demons!) and establish board superiority by killing them with efficient Combo moves.
Summoning big Demons on your side may be cool, but that's a Warlock's job.
But hey I'm not supposed to criticize, am I?
A bit slow but your Opponent can't ignore it.
Possessed Lackey and Voidcaller are both Cards with low Attack Value in a Class with limited Burn. This one on the other Hand can hit hit for quite a lot! And it's a Card for DH, a Class that, at this Point, is figuratively swimming in Damage.
And the Demons this one could summon are pretty dangerous: Hulking Overfiend, Pit Commander and Priestess of Fury are all high Priority Targets with a lot of Health.

Hmmm... a worse Voidcaller. I guess that's blizzards way of balancing the card/effect.
The skewed stats distribution can be a positive. With 8 damage it can act as a soft taunt, forcing your opponent to trigger its deathrattle.
Nice idea! It's better flavor-wise. Demon hunter hunt demons after all.
Maybe in future expansions, they can create mechanic that utilizes this interaction. Something like "Battlecry: summon a 1/1 demon for your opponent. After this minions kills X demons, do X effect." Makes demon hunter exceptionally good at fighting warlocks too.
It hurts my eye when I try to compare it with Voidcaller, but I think it has something to do with new nasty demons than just a Voidlord. Warlocks dont have many strong lategame demons throughout all expansions, Demon Hunter has already good big demons now, and might receive more. I believe there are some good reasons to have very slow voidcaller for Illidan. Very weak against silence (No wonder Spellbreaker got removed...)
Just like Voidcaller, yes, but your opponent has to play around it very differently. You'd often try to leave an opponent's Voidcaller on the board until you have a way to kill it AND whatever it summons. With 8 attack, you need to deal with this. Voidcaller was also strong because Warlock has many ways of killing his own minions. Will Demon Hunter?

Well, it is nice that we get a way to cheat demons out of our hand, but 6 mana is kind of a lot as we can see from Possessed Lackey. Perhaps the extra stats will help it to see more play, or if there are good enough demons to pull.
The card has potential, it will see play depending on the meta and the other cards in your deck.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Would be better if it was battlecry. 2/5
I never apologize… I’m sorry but that’s the way I am.
Yes, it is a worse Voidcaller and lackey, but your opponent can't ignore it and getting this 8 dmg to the face. And cards that "cheat" another card are usually overpowered and liked by the deckbuilders and the pros. That's why I think this one is a pretty viable one.

All's well that ends fel when the fel summoner summons well.
... otherwise its garbage :P
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
This card seems to be bad. Sure, there DH has access to some strong demons like Pit Commander or Coilfang Warlord, but turn 6 is imho too late to cheat out one of these minions.
[Hearthstone Card (Voidcaller[/card But worse in every way. Opponent can just silence it, and it comes out way too late.
) Not Found]RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Voidcaller but not a demon, much slower.. and other text for some reason.
Well... at least it's not at 4 mana like Voidcaller
Also... consistently inconsistent...
Voidcaller - "Put a random demon"
Fel Summoner - "Summon a random demon"
6 mana big damage and possibly summon a big boy from hand? This would go hand in hand with Pit Commander.
An imposing body that's too big for your opponent to ignore, but I don't see Demon Hunter running a slow big demons deck when it will probably be the best tempo class in the game. Just too slow compared to all other DH cards.
Yeah compared to Voidcaller this is much more expensive, but 8-Attack is a threat that cannot be ignored, and it can trade its life away to take down something large in the process. Not being a Demon means it can't pull itself, something my Voidcallers have a habit of doing >_>
Probably only demon hunter card which also looks nice.
I don't like this card: too slow, too random and 3 hp are too low. It will see play only in a big demon dh deck
Highly dependent on two things: 1) do you have some big demons in hand? 2) do you proc this deathrattle while it's your turn?
#2 relies again on the type of demons in your hand. If you kill this minion off on your turn you could first set up your hand to have one demon and pull something like Hulking Overfiend to help immediately clean up some enemy minions.
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
As with a lot of stat distributions from this set, very attack heavy. Obviously worse than Voidcaller, but more importantly is in a class without access to a plethora of sacrifice effects. Probably sees play only in a future where demon hunters get a turbo-Voidlord
This post is discussing the wild format.
Very good curveminion for DH midrangedecks.
Nice part of the "Cheat out big demons" package for Illidan. Too slow/weak to be played on curve though.
I hope it's a more-balance Voidcaller because its hard to decide wether to kill her or not cause of her 8 attack.
She's not bad, but she's kinda slow.
You'd best hope that your opponent doesn't have an answer for whatever demon she summons from your hand
voidcaller costs 4... this one is really slow
So not worth it. Won't be played

this doesnt seem like a viable card for dh even with the strong demons like Coilfang Warlord
TOTAL CORRUPTION
TOTAL POWAAAAAAA
At first glance, i also thought that it looks like Voidcaller but someone said me that it is not because Voidcaller cheats more mana. I really agreed that. Voidcaller was powerful because of its mana.
If DH can abuse deathrattles, this can be a pain tho.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
Better than possessed lackey, EXCEPT that it takes a minion from your hand, not your deck. I feel this is still too pricey for what it is doing
Which is not a Demon
It being more expensive makes it a lot harder to use, since Voidcaller’s strength came partially from being able to get a huge body out really early on, before your opponent could deal with it. Probably still pretty decent though, alongside all the big demons they’ve gotten
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
A must-have in any big Demon deck.
Voidcaller was (is) broken because it brought out 9 mana demons on 5. This guy only brings them on 7. mUch more manageable.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
Will the different wording have any kind of effect on the result, even in weird situations like some quest from other class or minion effects that activate on summoned/played/...?
