Ashes of Outland is the first Hearthstone expansion for the Year of the Phoenix.
Ashes of Outland Quick Information
- Ashes of Outland releases April 7, 2020.
- Introducing the Demon Hunter class. Hearthstone's finally got a new playable class!
- Illidan is the basic Demon Hunter hero.
- Prime Minions - Legendary minions with two forms. After they are removed from the board, they come back more powerful.
- Imprisoned Demons - They are inactive for two turns but have powerful effects.
- Outcast, the new Demon Hunter Keyword gives the card a bonus if it is cast while being the right-most or left-most card in your hand.
- The Priest class sees a large overhaul with the launch of the expansion.

- Logging into the game starting March 17 gives you a Legendary minion, Kael'thas Sunstrider.

Has it been a meta where rogue could be considered " weak"? I don't think so. The class got knew overpowered toys to play with. Oh well...

Is it possible to have the tokens or cards like the Prime be displayed when I hover over the base card? Especially for cards like Quests' rewards and such. It would be very helpful to see and read.

Hyped for the new class, but I feel like they toned down the overall card quality a little bit too much. A lot, I mean LOT of fillers this time, wich will never see play outside of random effects, especially in the neutral cathegory.
Also a little disappointed they did not print a highlander card :(

I dunno what you're talking about, the supposed pack filler in this set looks a lot more interesting than any other set. There's not a lot of vanilla minions, most of them have niche and interesting effects. I'd argue this set broadens the horizons for strategic deckbuilding for the rest of the year.

My bet is that Rogue is gonna use ALL new class cards in one deck, maybe except Cursed Vagrant, and will destroy everything.

I think it's better this way than adding a bunch of trash neutral epics that you would never want to open, like they usually do

Oh my. Mage got a bundle of spells. More than other class I think. They wanna push All-Spells Deck huh?
And Control Armor Warrior is on. Oh yeah..
Cairne Bloodhoof is beaten by Cursed Vagrant. it has more value than the mana cost.
and Darkglare is basically a 0 cost Hero Power for Warlock. Hand warlock gonna love this.
One thing to note is that every class got Prime minion except Demon Hunter. I wonder why?

A little like the time Terrorscale Stalker supplanted Princess Huhuran but sadder. Apart from the lore behind Cairne, there's hardly anything "legendary" about him, now that there are rare and common neutrals that do what he does and more.

They mentioned it during the reveal stream I think - they said that Demon Hunter already has a lot of different things going on and that it doesn't make sense from a lore standpoint, as Primes are corrupted by Rustlegion and DHs fight the Legion.

You can usually still prepurchase right up to the release going live, but the official messaging is always the through the day prior to launch.

The official blog says "available in-game and on the Battle.net web shop through April 6".
