Just slightly better Fool's Bane. Can attack face and have DH synergy.
What's the most powerful card in Hearthstone?
A credit card.
Without tremendous healing cards all those demon hunter weapons a basically aggro exclusive.
Hey look, it's yet another iteration of the same concept we've seen twice before.
Not buying into the hype here. It's expensive and you need healing for it to work in the long run (which so far is a bit sparse in the class)
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Possible top end of an aggressive DH strategy. Without Leeroy, games will have to end somehow.
Just from the WoW Lore I was expecting more from this weapon. But I guess this is a different game.
Without some sort of healing, I doubt this will be used on minions for it's effect, rather go face 2-3 times and win the game.

... to your face as well
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
This Card seems underwhelming, unless there's some good Health Gain in DH.

This is basically Assassin's Blade, but with an additional effect. Looks rather weak, but might be put in aggro decks just because it's a weapon. This card has a nice synnergy with the DH hero power, though.
Fool's Bane that can go face. I wonder if this card hasn't been powercrept in recent years.
Along with Kayn Sunfury, this give DH another way to get around taunts. Seems pretty good. Who cares if you reduce your health to 1 while getting lethal.

wtf just happened?
Trade, Trade, Trade, FACE. This weapon in a nutshell. Good card if you ask me.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
token cleanup, interesting
Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
I don't think this card is that great you take too much damage to clear minions.
Same reason Fool's Bane didn't see play.
5 stars just because it's the Warglaives of Azzinoth. I'm honestly surprised this wasn't the weapon of DH's basic set. Maybe this will get moved into their classic set?
Nice card against aggro which is typically the meta in every early expansion. At one point it will sit in the dust pan like Fool's Bane but for now it'll be "prepared".
I echo the comments about Fool's Bane, and I'll echo the stipulation that the DH really needs some more healing to properly utilize a card like this. That being said, I still think it's a good card. It should at least see play early on, when everyone is running aggro DHs: you'll want something to mop up the enemy board before it out-races your own heh.
Good card for it's flexibility. When behind it's a good board control tool, while when ahead it's 12 damage to the face. Its only major weakness are decks full of big minions like Embiggen Druid, so whether it will see play or not depends on whether decks like those dominate the meta.
Fool's Bane is a bad card, I don't see how this is much different. You are able to attack the enemy Hero, but I don't think that is enough for this card to see play.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Why isn't this card Legendary? :O
Definitely one of the cards that should move to the classic set. Surprised this wasn't even in the initiate set
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
This card seems like a worse alternative to Chaos Nova in nearly every situation for a slower deck, and looks too much like Assassin's Blade for a faster one. Maybe if some kind of combo needs you to attack a lot of times in one turn? Otherwise, tentatively a bad card.
This post is discussing the wild format.
This card remember Fool's Bane of course, but for next set I think DH will be played with an aggressive style
Maybe not, but the DH is all about aggressive attacks with the hero. This weapon could be for clearing a minion (or two) and then going face. Maybe they have a 9 or less health taunt in the way and 3 or less life left for their hero, and you have the health to spare. Drop this, hit the taunt until it's dead and kill the enemy hero. It fits the flavor of the class very well. Situational, but not great.
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
If only there is Leeching Poison for DH.
Then might be good with Captain Greenskin.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
I think that this is a better Fool`s Bane that go face. Really Don`t know if DH will need this as I saw that they can do OTK over 20 even without an equipped weapon
Weak card. If you play boardwipes, youre kindof a controldeck. If youre a controldeck, you dont wanna take that much facedamage.
Gonk was turned into this.
This is definitely going to be in the classic set! Just like Gorehowl and Doomhammer is.
Compared to similar weapons that were underwhelming, Illidan can boost his attack way more than other classes through his hero power and a ton of cards. This weapon could surprise us!
This is a great weapon, no "overkill" mechanic to slow it down, and coupled with that 0 mana "blur" spell it'll mean you can clear a board without hurting yourself too much
i think people will be surprised for how good it is. it's basically a board clear , super anti aggro
It is okay. Demon hunter lacks healing, so he will just take a lot of damage and has an easier chance of death. :/ Fools bane never saw play, even though warrior gains a lot of armor
Looks like it’ll have the same problem Fool’s Bane had, you take way too much damage for the effect to actually be worth it. A lot of decks rely on cheating out big minions, it’s mainly only aggro that would have a small wide board that this would be reasonable against
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Looks like a weaker Chaos Nova that requires you to take face damage as well, and isn't an aggressive stat line for aggro decks. I don't see what archetype wants to include this.
For glory, honor, and gold!
Better than Fool's Bane? Yes. Worth a deckslot? No.
Should have been a legendary card instead!
Seems kinda meh when compared to Fool's Bane. Not because the card itself is weaker (it's not, it's much stronger especially with DH's Hero Power), but because DH doesn't have the tanking power Warrior has.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
In the fouls bane time I tried many times a control build with that weapon, and I almost never was able to used it due to the meta beeing too agressive and I had not enought health to tank the hits. AS A WARRIOR. WIth DK, the meta will be more agreesive and a class with no armor and little heal wont be able to tank that many hits to be worth the slot
I thought it's weak until a played it in the prologue. It's actually really fun and good card for a demon hunter that want to attack using hero.
You can kill a minion (or minions) and attack face in the same turn - just wow.
I never apologize… I’m sorry but that’s the way I am.
