Very solid if slightly less reliable then Vulpera Scoundrel.
The elemental tag doesn't really matter at the moment, but that might change.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This will be run in every shaman deck for the next two years. Amazing effect, and its Vulpera Scoundrel with better bases. Also good for wild elemental shaman?
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Really depends on how easy it is to put out spells on 2. Its not a curve card so its actually concerning to have this in your deck. Vulpera Scoundrel might just be better, since its more reliable.
A solid 3-drop that is also useful in the late game. Definitely an intersting minion that could fit into both aggro and control decks.
Contrarily to Totem shaman, I can totally side with Elemental shaman. I like this one, a lot, actually!
Marshspawn hopes to someday be promoted to Marshsqueen.
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Elemental shaman with a twist. I kinda like it. And Discover is such a awesome mechanic.

hard to play this on curve.. which spell would you cast on 2? rather I think the idea is to cast Serpentshrine Portal and then play this card.
feels like a filler card for the conditional play sham. but this allows you to generate some more spells for the win. we'll see if this will be effective during real play.
Very solid and very strong: 3/4 for 3 mana, tag elemental and draw effect. Cast a spell is really easy to trigger, so for me it's an insane minion
Good value generator, but I just don't see "spell shaman" happening and this is just not that good outside of it. Sure, it would be great with the quest reward, but in Quest Shaman you want lots of battlecry minions and very little spells, meaning you can't activate him consistently enough.
Elemental+Spell-shaman! For all of us that like value a lot.
Elemental really needs to be pushed for Shaman. If Spell Shaman can work, than this will be in it.
Solid stats and effect, can be played on T4 and beyond. 4/5
Really hard to play on turn-3, so you'll have to wait until later to produce results. The potential is there; whether or not it can execute is another question entirely.
It's solid stats make it playable, even with Shamans elemental tools rotating out.
of course there aren't a lot of spells you can play on turn 2 that won't overload you and make you too overloaded to play on curve
This card just feels very nice. It fills out a slot that isn't really filled by a lot of cards at a 3 mana value minion. I like this card in a lot of archetypes.
This post is discussing the wild format.
Seems okay, but not very exciting. What elemental synergy does Shaman even have in the Year of the Phoenix?
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Nice minion but; same with Shattered Rumbler, wouldn't it be better if it say "elemental" instead of "spell" ? I mean the mechanic is same with elemental synergy but this time it is for spells. That's inconsistency in my opinion. Well, consistent for its own experience since shaman is themed like it but a general inconsistency i would say.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
Good body on curve and easy to activate. Easy pick for decks with more than just a few spells.
3 mana 3/4 discover a spell is good. And I don't think you will have much trouble triggering the ability.
I do have doubts about this card though. For one, it doesn't really matter that this is a well stated 3-drop because most of the time you won't be triggering this on turn 3. Also, this doesn't look like the kind of card that would make the cut in a good deck. Usually you would rather just play a good spell than play an okay minion and hope to grab a good spell.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
even played on t3 without the effect is ok
This is a good card, probably gonna be seeing a lot of it. It’s really easy in most situations to pull off the effect (especially if you have a second one in hand)
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Solid stats even without taking the battlecry into account, definetely playable in constructed and arena.
elemental are back and this is just necessary
"Shaman's weakness is card generation".
To be honest, though this card is pretty great. I honestly feel like card generation should be a Shaman thing at this point, because it does kind of feel like a mystical thing Shaman's could do.
There are dozens of uses for this. I'm gonna try it in a quest deck that generates spells. If this is in starting hand you can delay quest by 1 turn and if you have coin this is easy on curve play. With all the cheap spell generators around this is a great value card. I do have a theorycraft on my page if anyone is interested
