Somewhat interesting, but only if you have something on the board already, otherwise it's just a worse Kobold Geomancer

It was awful.
We're so close to getting a 1-drop spell damage minion, I don't think spell damage minion for 1 mana would be broken these days, or maybe.
Interesting, but i don't think it's worth the slot in a deck.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Out of the 3 Augmerchants, Ethereal Augmerchant is last on my list.

You could use this with mana reservoir and shadow step for a cheap finisher in Rogue or you can get spell damage x 6 for 8 mana in druid I know I will try to make this work.
Actually the more I think about it there are dozens of way you can make a threat out of these for almost every class

I don't think it will make the cut for constructed play. It's just weak in my opinion.

Easily the worst one of the 3.
Edit: I mean spell damage is not that great when you need to have another minion to trigger it, we had a fisherman for 2 and a 2/3 that did the same saw 0 constructed play.
very bad card..+spell dmag is already rarely played..especialyl there are other cards that can give spell dmag without dmaging your own..
The weakest out of all the Augmerchant cards, this might see play in some weird combo deck with Spellzerker in wild, but that would just be a meme.
The worst Augmerchant, I believe. This card is technically the only one mana spell damage minion in the game, but requires you to control another minion, so cannot set up a turn 2 wipe against decks like pirate warrior. Decks that want to ping their own minions with a one mana card would be better off with the other two augmerchants.

Cool effect and super strong in druid (where +2 spell damage can be a huge diffence for a board clear)
Someone will make a OTK utilizing this. Otherwise, won't see play
I just don't see it being used. The other two Augmerchants are more reliable and better equipped for trades and the like; this one wants to combo with spells, and a lot of things have to go right just so you can have +1 damage on a spell at the correct moment you want to cast it.
I really like the Augmerchants, but this is quite situational. Most spell-heavy classes don't run alot of minions that sustain damage well.
I like the augmerchant concept but this is just bad..
dealing 1 damage to give a minion spell damage +1 seems okay? but this is a ... 3 card combo and I'm not sure where this would fit...
Augmerchant mechanic is great, but spell damage with enrage i dont know which deck want it. Maybe next expansion.
Enrage-spell-face-warrior new meta? Most likely not.

Still better than Elven Archer.
Just play it with Magic Carpet and give carpet spell damage and make your Mortal Coils 2 damage pings. :)
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
The weakest augmerchant, because spell damage is such a niche effect--even spell-heavy decks don't necessarily run a lot of spell damage. Think of it this way: is that extra spell damage worth the loss of one of the spells that you could otherwise stuff in your deck? Usually the answer is no.
But it'll be a fun find off of something like Jar Dealer or another 1-drop generator.

Spell Damage is not a very powerful effect, and I don't see a reason why would you play this over a minion with spell damage.
Perhaps it can work in late game, but doesn't seem very strong.
Spell damage isn't very good, so this card isn't very good. This is probably the worst augment card.

Yeah, Elven Archer can just cry now. When do we ever use it for anything other than just pinging away a 1 health minion. This will do that, plus it can do other stuff. And it's got one more attack.
