Not really sold on it. Pretty bad against swarming decks if they have tokens with more than 1-health and just in general your opponent usually gets to interact with this first.

Maybe Priest can make some use out of it, but I doubt it.

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

Interesting one. It kinda reminds me of Tar Creeper, but I am not sure if I like the twist.

3/6 for 3 is quite good, it's easy to make it 1 attack but.. it's still a great taunt! I think it does the best in priest.

Tar Creeper but worse. Opponent can just trade a lacky into it, and nullify the effect, making it just a 3 mana 1/5 with taunt.

RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

Poor Silverback Patriarch I really can't understand why don't Team 5 rework Silverback Patriarch if they want to do so much 3 mana +4 health taunts.

It will be never playable if they keep making other 3 mana taunts. Just rework it...

Tar Creeper's inconsistent one-hit-wonder <fluffy> cousin, indeed. The resemblance is uncanny ..!

nice turn 3 play for priest in arena. makes it a difficult card to get rid of considering the fact that priest can keep it topped off

It's like Tar Creeper (as many others above me have said), but not as good. Then again, Tar Creeper was played in so many decks that a card can be worse than Tar Creeper and still good enough to play.

A claimant to the legacy of Tar Creeper. Probably worse, and probably sees even less play than creeper does in wild.

This post is discussing the wild format.

Pretty bad, but I like the flavor of the card.

I can imagine him cowering with fear after the first hit.

I'm down on the card. It's a Tar Creeper that can only proc one time before it returns to 1-Attack. That's not acceptable.

I like the flavor of this card, it only has additional attack when it's not damaged.

    Clever.

That said it might see some play in constructed, it's a more balanced tar creeper, however. And balanced cards don't usually see play...

Intimidating play on curve, 3/6 taunt is nothing to scoff at. 1/6 is still annoying. Could be useful in arena

Haha love the flavor, but i think make it bleed first is not a hard think, so it's not worth it.

This is the new Tar Creeper. Instead of losing the 3 attack on your turn, you sustain it until the opponent damages it.

Makes it great for slow metas, a bit weaker on fast metas. So it depends on what decks we'll be facing in coming weeks.

Seems decent, but it’ll probably be overshadowed by a lot of other slightly better taunts

Who needs consistency when you could have fun?

Decent stats, specially if it can be buffed. Likely to see play in arena.

Reminds me of Tar Creeper. After a hit this is a 1/5 with taunt which is still better than Silverback Patriarch, so at least it has that going for it. I could see someone playing this just to stall the early game, but if there are too many decks running small guys like lackeys or imps then I don't think this will be worth it. Maybe this card will find a home in a tempo priest deck that can keep this guy healthy.

    Carrion, my wayward grub.
