If nothing else, this will be an amazing addition to my recently crafted The Undying deck. As other people have pointed out, the biggest drawback is that your opponent can cancel the spell by removing your unit in response. Overall, it looks like a balanced alternative to Black Spear.
I see this as a counter to removal for aggro-based decks. Think how Glimpse is used, but more damage to the face. It will be interesting if you run one over the other or both.

If nothing else, this will be an amazing addition to my recently crafted The Undying deck. As other people have pointed out, the biggest drawback is that your opponent can cancel the spell by removing your unit in response. Overall, it looks like a balanced alternative to Black Spear.
But at the same time, you can cancel an effect by killing your own stuff, like vile feast or grasp or an enemy fervor.
It's really flexible as much as it looks like it's not.. It's mostly a reactive card to use when an ally is about to die or the enemy is tapped out.
