Fizz being targetted by spells?

My fizz was recalledby my opponent, and later hit with the 2 damage piltover spell, even though I cast a spell and gave him elusive. Is this the same bug twice in a match? Are rito actually to stupid to word his description? Just need to know.

Fizz only counters spells currently targeting him. Every time your opponent tries to remove it, you have to cast another spell, even if you already cast on that turn.

From reading Fizz’s text you can see that it triggers whenever you cast a spell and stops spells currently targeting him, and doesn’t grant Fizz spell-protection

No, it doesn't need to say that at all. You can keep making snide remarks for no reason but Fizz's description perfectly fits the way spells work in the game. Being that the most recent one in a chain activates first. Therefore if it activates before Fizz's effect (so it has been played after Fizz's ability would activate) it will hit Fizz. This is general game mechanics and therefore doesn't need to be specified on every single card, as that would make their descriptions needlessly long.
