  • New Noxus Card - Captive Greyback

The effect might look broken at first until you realize that this only have 2 power, so your opponent don't have any reason to block it. You can try to buff it's power but with only 3 health this card is very susceptible to removal.

  • New Bilgewater Card - Megatusk

Deep definitely like the extra healing especially when it comes with a body, would this make the deck meta again? I don't think so, they are still too dependent on Nautilus to get their engine going and the game have more cards that can deal with him now, still a nice addition to the deck.

  • New Ionia Spell - Storm of Blades

I don't see this being played in Azir/Irelia. 5 mana is simply to much commitment for a deck that likes to play multiple unit's and still have enough mana to protect said unit's.

  • New Demacia Card - Protective Broodfather

If this get going it will win you the game but at 8 mana it does came come a bit late.

  • Have the idea, now need the deck list

If you really want Test Subject shenanigans, run Dragon Soul instead. You then don't need to run PW: Shield nor even Radiant Elemental. Just run Seance - it will let you actually have some infinite value that Ritual does not provide even though you will get more 5/5 Dragons initially with Ritual (three 5/5 Dragons each turn is still plenty). Instead of PW:Shield, run Regenerate to actually get 3 spells for Dragon Soul to proc.

Why bother with test subject? You can easily accomplish this with Sethekk Veilweaver or Nazmani Bloodweaver, or even both. Playing 12 spells by turn 3-4 isn't exactly all that hard for priest, especially after a Palm Reading discount, so you dont necessarily need the Radiant Elemental either.

I dont have list for you, but you can start by looking out the old rally priest from the previous meta before rotation. Add in some good spells like Embalming Ritual and it should be good enough.

Perhaps if Dungeon Runs were still a thing.

But the last have been two linear 'Books', so of course they don't want to do more of that.

  • Hearthstone's Battlegrounds Lobby Legends Tournament Series Continues This Weekend! Survival Guide

As far as I know, no drops for this one (the first Lobby Legends didn't have drops either). Seems like they just forgot to change their Twitch notification after their last stream which was the Crab Rave thing that had drops.

  • Have the idea, now need the deck list

So, I had the very simple idea for a giant spell priest:

It revolves around the following infinite card draw machine:

    1) You play Test Subject

    2) Than you drop Radiant Elemental

    3) Now you are ready to pull endless amount of cards and discount spell giants by applying  on the Test Subjectthe following:

Embalming Ritual => Power Word: Shield => Topsy Turvy.

I tried different variations of deck lists, but could not find one that works. Any suggestions?

    The drawing combo:

    Radiant Elemental Card Image

    Embalming Ritual Card Image

    Power Word: Shield

    Topsy Turvy

The Cards You want to Discount:

  • Rewards Track: Current progress 5.0

Level 73 on the Paid RT right now. Been having a blast with a Pirate Thief Rogue. Using the new Pirate Admiral Hooktusk and Ambassador Faelin, along with dredge, to create some strong Contraband Stash turns.

Also messing around with a From the Depths Warrior. Hedra Druid has been fun too. Not quite sure I got my balance of spells into her battlecry right yet, still feels good to play though.

Legendaries so far: Free: Okani, Faelin, Sir Finely (diamond), Hedra (rt freebie)

Packs: Nellie, Crabatoa, Glugg, Radiance, Gaia, Colaque, S'theno

I will say Faelin is the kind of freebie card I love. Gives you a way to see the other legendaries in the set and rewards you for playing the new mechanic. Especially since I got to play them all in one deck! Sad though that Tess is a bit too slow this meta, ah well, maybe in the next.

  • path of champions 2.0 news?

  • Dean Ayala’s Hearthstone Q&A Recap #43 - Possible Card Buff Patch in Near Future, Alternate Hearthstone in Japan, & More

Reducing solo content to speedrunning is a extremely jaded way to look at solo experiences.
Solo Adventures should be looked at as a way to pace yourself with new / interesting strategies.

If you only played thru the dungeon run once, you missed out on a lot of unique experiences.

They offered different powers, rare treasures, special encounters, and fun synergies.

  • Introduction to Cybernetic Successor - Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel Structure Deck

Thanks for the Feedback! It took some effort to get done, but I was extra excited for this as my first full guide since It's one of the Decks I own irl :D

I agree, the deck has many chokepoints that can lead to the end of the turn. I mentioned some improvements, but as with any low-tiered Deck, I'd only recommend lots of investment if it's a personal favorite.

  • 8 Fun Off-Meta Fun Standard Fun Community Fun Decks to Play for Fun

Ya know, I had a feeling this was going to be a fun read just by looking at the title ;D  Thanks as always for an enjoyable article and I appreciate you taking the time to check out the Dino exhibit!

What are you having fun with these days?

I find myself mixing in more Lady Prestor and RNG decks which usually corresponds to lulls in an expansion.  Discover is relatively consistent atm so I've been leaning into it with something like this:

  • New Expansion Talk - Worldwalker

Nightfall didn't really need another finisher, however that is if you're talking about a strictly SI/Targon Nightfall deck. This card at least allows you to branch out a bit from these two regions and that's great.

Revna isn't a finisher by any means, they probably need a Champion that works with deck buffs specifically for hand/deck buffs archetype to work.

Stagehand is legitimately scary. Good on both aggro and control decks.

Lord Broadmane doesn't work with landmarks so Time Bomb is a no go.

Legion Deserter is pretty scary. Effectively another Viego if you're running him in the deck. Encroaching Mists does give him +2/+2 instead of the usual +1/+1. Noxus Viego has been done before with Sion so I expect that they'll switch him out for LeBlanc or Rumble now. Not sure why this card is part of Jhin's support cards but I'm assuming there's going to be another everywhere minion type buff in Jhin's support cards.

Harrowing Return is just a Fearsome support card branded as an ephemeral support card. You play more with Mistwraiths than you do with Hecarim at least. They probably need a card that rallies or allows cards to free attack like Ruined Reckoner.

I mean, to be fair, the movie kinda suck, veering from the original story. And I think the reason is precisely because of the emotional attachment to the original story that it didn't do all that well in western countries compared to asian.

  • Introduction to Cybernetic Successor - Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel Structure Deck

Very good and desriptive guide, however it seems that this deck has only one combo to win the game and if it fails, there are no other ways of coming back to it. Or it's just me playing bad :)

anyway, thank you for publishing this article, hope to see more in depth guides + deck lists here ;)

  • New Freljord Card - Revna, the Lorekeeper

Another Freljord deck buff card, that archetype main weakness is it extreme vulnerability to aggro deck and this sadly don't fix that. Still I like it's design.

  • New Freljord Card - Hunting Boar

If it could block I acutally would consider an ephemeral copy control deck to make use of this but since it can't... I don't think this is any good

  • Beat That Bounty Boss!

    Quote From Pezman
Slightly related topic: I feel like they said there was no non-duplicate rule for Mercs, but I have yet to unpack a repeat Merc, and I only get portraits for rares and epics, which I already own all. Every time I am lucky enough to unpack a legendary, it's a new one. Am I just super lucky? Or is there in fact a non-duplicate rule after all?

There is a non-duplicate rule, but it's kinda convoluted. I'm pretty sure there are two distinct things you need to look at in each pack: the merc slot and the coin slots possibly being replaced with mercs.

The merc slot will be a legendary once every 20 packs (with no pity timer, grr), an epic once every 5, and a rare otherwise. If you don't own all the mercs of whatever rarity you land on, it will do non-duplicate things and give you one you don't own. If you do own them all, I think it picks one completely at random, giving a portrait if you don't have all of them for that merc, and coins otherwise. Note it doesn't go through any non-duplicate process when picking mercs in this case.

As for the coin slots, they have some small chance of being turned into a merc, either a portrait or a base version if you happen to not have it yet. There's no duplicate protection here though, and you very probably get a few portraits this way before owning every merc of the corresponding rarity. When this happens it looks like duplicate protection is broken, but it's actually fine and just doesn't apply here.
