Elden ring's final boss should have followed bloodborne's Gerhman -> moon presence structure, in that after beating radagon and then dying to elden beast you shouldn't have to beat radagon again. That way they can justify making elden beast a more interesting boss. In a sense, the real final boss in terms of difficulty and interest is actually melania, because fromsoft didn't have to compromise anything with her design
Back to hearthstone;
I really hope the rotating wild set doesn't come up the way Dean envisioned it. Each expansion is designed with classic in mind, and having us play with the cards available in each individual expansion would probably be too limiting. Is it really too much to just rotate between three expansions at a time?
As for Drek'Thar, it's just impossible to ever nerf it. Partly because of the cosmetic fiasco, and partly because the only real way to nerf this card without drastically altering its function and win rate, is to give it a stat nerf. Would we see the card banned from standard? That's one way to handle it I suppose, and provides easy excuses for not giving out refunds.
My prediction is that team5 will simply nerf decks that commonly play drek'thar instead. Like quest hunter and naga dhunter, simply because in my opinion management will likely never allow a 25 bucks card to ever lose value.
Reno Priest has a lot of ways to go in for sure, Combo, Control, Dragon, and probably others. Definitely one of the most interesting and varied Wild archetypes!
Appreciate the credit! I started tinkering with Reno priest for fun, but after stumbling upon your very thorough guide I've been inspired and spent the last few hours experimenting with different builds.
I got what the shuffle is trying to do now, but Dredging at the end of your turn means that you just get one of the three cards at the bottom of the deck randomly (effectively making the shuffle effect now almost entirely useless). The stats are fine, but it should use the VttSC watermark.
Nirast
The two effects are quite disparate from each other which you don't typically find on most Hearthstone cards, but I do like what the card is trying to do. The two effects don't seem that outlandishly strong, so I'm wondering if you could possibly give it an extra stat. The draw effect in particular is quite slow since 7 mana is quite a lot of pay for something that draws. I'd probably give this a solid B+ for design.
Followed the feedback and came up with this guy. Keeping the Sunken effect, but the Colossal effect has been replace with a "minions that cost 7+" one. The only colossal that can't be summoned is Crabatoa. Also made it Epic, see how it's received.

Show Spoiler
BasilAnguis: I like it, simple, but effective design. Great if you can kill it the turn it's summoned, like with a Rancor, or in a Warlock deck.
Wailor: Yogg'Siren simply because of the name. The others aren't bad either.
ChickyChick: So Grotesmal would give you 5 options for dredge? Not sure how the UI would work if you have more than 2 tentacles. Either way, I like the Herald the most.
Alfi: The shuffle effect is basically meaningless unless you Dredged, or you played Lorekeeper Polkelt before, Ambassador Faelin, or Sir Finley, Sea Guide, in all the cases the card being anti-synergistic (except for maybe Finley). Also, you can't really interact with the game after the turn ends.
I also really enjoyed this game, years ago! It's neat to see a feature on it. The whole experience reminded me very much of a competitive roguelike.
If this ends up being a series on innovative yet unsuccessful card games, Krosmaga would be another great one to cover. Like Chronicles to Runescape and Hearthstone to WOW, Krosmaga is the counterpart to the French MMORPGs Wakfu and Dofus (you may recognize the former by the anime based on its lore). It's an extremely cute, well-themed game with interesting ideas about how legendary cards function, how game end occurs (deception is involved! delightfully devilish, Seymour), and how combat plays out - each players' minions trundle a 'speed' distance down a track at the end of each players' turn; of six tracks, three contain game ending obtainables, two being required to prevail.
Above all else, Krosmaga is the cute Animal Crossing of card games. It should've been far more successful, but was never developed consistently. You CAN still play it through Steam or the Ankama Launcher, though! There's a small, dedicated community :)
If somebody is wondering the same than me.... nope, Flamewaker are not naga. They
are an elementalrace of ruthless serpentine creatures that serve Ragnaros the Firelord. They are native to the Elemental Plane, and were summoned to Azeroth by Ragnaros to attend their master
Effects which resolve at the end of your turn trigger after timer for your turn ends, so they can't allow player to make actions, they are always resolved automatically, so this would just Dredge randomly.

Probably not because even if we have it'll be so niche it wont see any play. But we do have something like Kobold Stickyfinger if it helps

Sir Finley, Sea Guide is actually a genius idea for this deck.

Updated Mobalytics Tier List
https://app.mobalytics.gg/lor/meta-tier-list
They got rid of all the garbage Swim picks.
Now it's essentially exactly what it should be.
We have pirate aggro as tier 1 has been for 2 years honestly.
We have Jayce sentinels that Asian deck that is the strongest control list.
Viktor, Overwhelm, Scouts all good proven decks.
Tier 2 is equally strong, with Ezreal, Pantheon, Discard, yordle stuff, Ziggs, spiders
Tier 3: galio, sundisc, Lurk, darkness, Azir Irelia
-------------
This is a perfect tier list and I agree with every single pick.
Its also a very healthy brewing meta where you can build decks and pilot them effectively.
So very happy patch 1 and patch 2 giga edition both wins for the LOR team.
Good stuff guys
