Jokes aside, I really like this card with the new discard deck thematic of Warlock. That one card that deals 6 damage if you have little cards in your deck, that one legendary that summons the Un'Goro Warlock quest reward (I'm not good with the names of new cards) and Tickatus might just be enough for this to go from complete-meme tier to potentially-not-concede-Warlock tier.
That said, we still have the reveal stream and the card dump today, so that's 70+ cards yet to be seen. I expect at least a couple more cards supporting this archetype, because it's really quite cool.
EDIT: I just realised this says "destroy" and not "discard". Also, Tickatus says "remove". I assume these terms are mechanically identical, but come on Blizzard.
Like all the ranked spells, this needs time to pay off. If you have to play it early, it's just ok. In a drawn-out control match, this could provide the stats boost you need to outvalue your opponent. Thanks about how nasty Carnival Clown is right now in Druid after playing Survival of the Fittest. Now Warrior can do that too.
ZERO hype for the new Barrens expansion. Almost every legendary card of the new set seems boring AF. Almost no new mechanics, and the only ones that I see (buildings, frenzy) are anonymous to say the least. Only powercreeps and super boring effects. And we get THIS while al LOT of fun stuff rotates out from standard, like highlander decks, Galakrond and quests.
To this, add that the theme is shitty to me too, since I don't like Horde.
In a control match-up, activating this will probably win you the game, as there will be no way to remove the portal. But you'd still be taking fatigue (unless you jam Envoy Rustwix or something AFTER playing this). In most other matches, this is just a dead card.

This looks insanely good, and solid support for Swinetusk Shank. I'm a bit worried about the state of Weapon Rogue coming up. It might be just a tiny bit slower, but way more powerful.
I think this is a cool mechanic, at the very least. And on 10 mana you can play this with an empty deck and then play your last C'thun card, so you're guaranteed to draw C'thun next turn and have 6 minions to use for trading. (unless you end up with no space to play C'thun...)

It's a very interesting effect, but I don't think it will be very powerful. It's not removal, and it doesn't even completely neutralize the threat. I'm sure there will be some scenarios where it's good, but would be worth a deckslot?
I don't think this helps the fact that the problem with handbuffing is that you gimp yourself for a turn to get a better turn later. However, that also means you basically passed a turn and your opponent gets 2 turns of development. Glowstone Technician worked in standard when it got buffed because you could hit massive deathrattles like Mechano-Egg, you got a 3/4, you just benefit from playing bigger magnetic minions and you get to run Kangor's Endless Army. Warrior needs some better handbuff targets, some better ways to handbuff or something that allows you to regain the tempo loss from playing these cards (exhibit A: Animated Broomstick, the all-purpose card that makes any jank worth considering whether it's viable).

Very easy card to use, and to destroy decks. I think it is quite powerful and helps with the warlock deck destroyer archetype.

yeah, so im always going to say butter cutter. and its a great card that will see play in most rogue decks imho
