In this case, because HS is built to only let you choose 1 target per effect, so the Rank 2 and 3 versions wouldn't work as targeted spells. The alternative is to hit the left- or right-most minions, but perhaps that would make it too trivial to play around.
You can argue over whether the limit to 1 chosen target should be changed, but that's an entirely separate matter.
And once again for the Mage class! Mage has been the ultimate random class for quite a while already. Why keep adding more randomness to it? Seems like a decent card though.
By the way, Flurry did not have to win the World Championships to get a card with his name on it, pogchamp! (I doubt it was done on purpose, except for the designated reveal opportunity of course)
easy 5 stars. it's effectively Freezing Potion worst case scenario, (okay sure this can't target a minion.) and it only gets better the longer the game goes on. Also it's 0 mana, which is always super strong. Never underestimate 0 mana cards.

I think it might see play in some kind of beast druid, but it might mess a bit with Guardian Animals. However Druid can easely ramp up to 10 mana and upgrade Living Seed (Rank 1) very easely. Actually on turn 3-4 you generally have Living Seed (Rank 2) already. I think it might see play alongside Guardian Animals and it will only get better if they give us some more good beasts for druid.

Perhaps there will be a longer reveal with a few of the frenzy cards demonstrated together? But this is a crazy short reveal period (which I personally quite like!) so all bets are off
This looks good, it has premium 2 drop stats and the 1/1s with rush can be quite helpful. But i'm not sold on it. Hunter doesn't have that many 1 cost spells after rotation, and unless they print some i'm not sure it will see play. It's also unfortunate that they printed this after Unseal the Vault is rotating as well.
I think it will see experimentation, but as long as it doesn't get enough support i don't think it will be that good YET. But once it does get some support in expansions after FitB it might be really good.
If it does get plenty of support, it might be a great card in some control/combo hunter deck in order to survive early game.
Edit: Oh and hunter needs some 2 drops after rotation, so it might as well see play in aggro/tempo/secret hunter just for th 2/3 statline. It has some potential, but i'm just not really seeing it yet.
No, I have 1 less incentive to play HS (temporarily). A pretty significant 1 indeed, but there are still other goals (like getting all of the 1000 wins hero portraits) left in the game for me to achieve/collect. Also, I rather enjoy the casual play since completing the rewards track, no pressure at all.

Everything doesn't have to be random but in this case it does, since you can't manually target 2 or 3 minions.
You can have it freeze an adjacent minion on rank 2 and both adjacent minions on rank 3, but that would also alter the intended card strength.

Okay, so the best targets for this are: Druid of the Plains, Marsh Hydra, Umbral Owl, Lake Thresher, Moonfang, Teacher's Pet and Twilight Runner.

The only reason to judge this for the 10-mana cost would be for a specific combo that it enables.
If we're going for a ramp/midrange deck this is effectively a 0-mana draw 1
