Wild is already crazy powerful so honestly, making cards like Undertaker and Golem that see little to no play in the format better might not be as bad as you think. Personally if these changes can push some of the existing strong deck types out of the picture (Secret Mage and Big Priest, in particular) then I’ll be happy! Big Priest only recently had a resurgence, but Secret Mage has been gross for a little too long there!
Honestly though, I expect some experimentation for a little bit, maybe a month later we’ll see the same strong decks still on top.
undertaker will see litte.
Arcane golem will see tons of play, its better then leeroy which is already in many decks.
I could honestly seeing it making the cut in Rogue decks, both Odd and Kingsbane. But if Nitroboost is going to 2 mana, Odd is taking a hit. So we'll see.
All true, but I guess where I was going with my comment is that the combo as a whole will still take the same amount of time regardless of whether or not you are playing a 4 mana or 5 mana card that gives the copy effect. Because you still need to draw and set up the other battlecries and then play Shudder on turn 9 at the earliest, unless you have coin or Bloom, or some other cost reduction going on. And so while this may slow down aggro matchups a little, most match ups are essentially the same because yes, you impact the board more one turn sooner, but the overall time it takes is the same.
So slow opponents still get beat as long as you draw your combo pieces fast enough, still lose to fast burn decks like Secret Mage where the taunts don't matter, and you have a slightly better chance to survive long enough to get the combo off against aggro, but it might only buy you an extra turn. Two extra turns if the aggro opponent has bad draw and can't smorc you fast enough. But if they establish a good board too quickly, two 2/3 taunts isn't going to slow them down much. So that is why I think it isn't a big deal, because I am not optimistic in this change really having that big of an impact on many of the deck's bad matchups.
no problemo my friend you dont know how much free packs you gave me XD but the professor Oak in me want to know: are you a boy or a girl? i know it isnt my bussiness but i feel i know you a long time but never get this answer ( if it is a sensitive matter forgot i said anything and sorry , i never know what i can ask and what i cant in the internet these days XD) your answer will not change anything in your long lasting one sided friendship, but my mind will
Awesome deck. I play versions of this in both standard and wild. With standard I do a secret and elemental package. In wild though I go full Yogg. The oldsl school one, still haven't unpacked te new one.
I always seem to have a mage deck every expansion, yet it is still one of my lowest wins classes. Sigh, te curse of Yogg is strong.
As everyone has already said, just being a 1/3 beast makes it a solid Hunter card. Upside is a bonus. If the buffs stack, even better. A late-game 2/4 is not as exciting, although it would be a cheap beast if Hunter has enough beast synergies after we know the core/expansion list
Could work ok, but needs something to give it rush. So maybe an ok include with a rush-heavy deck that also includes animated broomstick. But why use broomstick if already a rush deck. Fun idea, but don't know if it will show up in standard
Hey, this is an interesting idea. Not sure, if they will change the pack in the chest retroactively, but who knows. Since there is no drawback to wait for the pack a little longer, I´m with you on this one :) Btw, thanks for the shout-out to me, I appreciate it :) I´m always glad to help if I can.
Thanks for highlighting Faeli, FrostyFeet. I rarely scan through the life-long list of players. I wasn´t sure I wanted to watch, but I always root for this man, so now I´m all in :)
Nice Neutral AoE that scales with buffs seems pretty strong. Libram Paladin will be able to get Samuri big enough to wipe most wide boards, which is pretty spooky. Blizzard also hinted at some potential for handbuff, so we'll see how this card pans out.
Druid of the Plains
So the frenzy in this case acts something like knock-off Divine Shield. The card is similar-ish to Siamat, Marsh Hydra, or Amani War Bear.
Hearthstone's Nerf Reverts for Neutral Cards - 10 Cards Including Undertaker & Saronite Chain Gang Are Getting Restored
Golem > Topsy Turvy > 2x PW Shield > 2x DS > IF.
7 cards, 8 mana, 32/32 with charge. :)
Probably a more efficient way but I'm not in the mood to think right now.

New Druid Minion - Druid of the Plains
It's a high cost card, codicious card for big or beasts druid
New Neutral Minion - Blademaster Samuro
There are so many different ways this effect could be used; I cannot imagine this not seeing play in a majority of decks.

New Neutral Minion - Peon
Seems fun but not too exiting

New Druid Minion - Druid of the Plains
Interesting. might be too slow, but maybe decent.
New Hunter Minion - Sunscale Raptor
As everyone has already said, just being a 1/3 beast makes it a solid Hunter card. Upside is a bonus. If the buffs stack, even better. A late-game 2/4 is not as exciting, although it would be a cheap beast if Hunter has enough beast synergies after we know the core/expansion list
New Shaman Minion - Bru'kan
Should enable some spell-damage Shaman shenanigans. Trick will be how consistently; hope it is fun to test and find out!
New Druid Minion - Druid of the Plains
Good card, AND potential for beast synergy. I will try it in Druid decks for sure.
Core 2021
Ah great, I was worried I might be stuck with the minion version
New Neutral Minion - Peon
OK card, but how often will Frenzy be able to be triggered? If it is reduced do a 2 mana 2/3, then it isn't great.
New Shaman Spell - Chain Lightning (Rank 1)
I like this card. Upgrading means it can be useful in both early and late game. Solid looking card!
New Warlock Spell - Imp Swarm (Rank 1)
Looks underwhelming to me so far.
New Neutral Minion - Razormane Raider
Could work ok, but needs something to give it rush. So maybe an ok include with a rush-heavy deck that also includes animated broomstick. But why use broomstick if already a rush deck. Fun idea, but don't know if it will show up in standard
