I certainly hope it isn't a typo! Nitroboost Poison is too good and way too easy to corrupt. At 2 it will still be really strong, after all a similar card: Tinker's Sharpsword Oil still sees play to this day and that costs 4 mana, so why shouldn't Nitroboost Poison see play at only 2 mana? For those who for some Yogg forsaken reason didn't stockpile copies of Nitroboost Poison yet, save some so you can get a bunch of dust.
I’m happy about Saronite Chain Gang, but some of these reversions have me a little nervous. Original Undertaker seems way too easy to snowball with a wide range of low-cost deathrattles, including Leper Gnome. I hope that Team5 is using this round of reversions to re-assess the strength of these cards in the current Wild landscape, and is ready to intervene if any card gets out-of-hand.
Tinker's Sharpsword Oil is the better comparison than Deadly Poison, and that card still holds up today in Wild. Given how well Nitroboost Poison compares to Oil, even at 2 mana, I don't doubt it would remain very strong at 2.
To be honest I never understood why 1-mana corrupt cards exist. Even in aggro decks it trivialises the corrupt condition so much that it doesn't really justify making them stronger than average cards once corrupted.
Don't know why you're downvoted. Especially in Wild, playing a 9 mana 8/8 turn 9 without anything else can be game losing (talking about its current state where Dragons cost 1).
Of all these changes, only Leper Gnome, Undertaker, and Arcane Golem springs to mind as perhaps a tad too far, even in wild, where hyper aggro is legit.
Leper gnome is small and unassuming, but if unremoved on turn 1, its basically going to deal 4 damage to your face for 1 mana. Its a nice buff for an odd hunter in wild, along side Undertaker, perhaps one of the best 1 drop in its time (and I'm not so sure its less powerful now).
Arcane Golem, now that's something that has been forgotten ever since they removed charge from it. Its hard to believe that back in the day this card used to be just about in every aggro deck, and I still believe that with this un-nerf its going to do so again, at least until team5 nerfs it back.
Undertaker wont be issue in wild at all, it s way easier to handle nowdyas then bakc then.
Leper gnome possibly coulld ad arcane golem is 100 % a mistake, Albatros is 100% msitake aswell.
I think team5 would probably wait until barrens is released, maybe a week after that, before looking at this card. Its no doubt this card is very strong, but having most of the burst damage like Eviscerate removed from standard, as well as the very important Southsea Deckhand (to this card anyway), and the introduction of other cards from barrens, it might be a little hasty to call for its death.
Without eviscerate, sap or deckhand, a simple taunt minion will ruin aggro rogue. So I'm not exactly keen on seeing this card get hammered without first looking at what Barrens is going to give us...5 days later.
As for whether its a typo or planned nerf...well, its probably that they were building it from a different server list. Let's not forget that devs are likely to test out cards before releasing nerfs, so its not unlikely that something like this crop out. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
It's not like you swap roles every 5 seconds in WoW.
What they really need to do is let you choose from several different hero powers when you build a deck. In fact, this is something they should be doing in all classes at this point. Just think how many times we've tried to build archetypes that almost work but lack support from the hero power, so they never quite get there. I mean, they've flirted with this idea from the beginning with Shadow Priest, and obviously it's already a thing in Duels. Why not just take the plunge already?
In its current state, the card is crazy even without synergies, so it will probably get nerfed.
Maybe nerfing weapon buff to +1 attack would be more reasonable than mana increase. Given its condition, at 2 mana, it will probably be worse than Deadly Poison, a basic card. Mana nerf is safer though, especially considering the rise of aggro in Wild.
In any case, weapon buff redundancy is at a high price in weapon decks, so it will still be played if those decks remains strong in the meta.
I would be surprised if they didn't nerf this card. Corruption at 1 mana is the easiest thing to trigger, and 4 damage for 1 mana is just too much. Eviscerate is balanced at 2 mana, and cold blood had to be nerfed. Nitroboost Poison is arguably better than both of those cards.
Actually, if you account for durability, it's 10 potential damage with fresh Self-Sharpening Sword, for 1 mana. More if minion can attack again. Even Deadly Poison is really deadly in weapon decks, and this is stronger :)
Handlock with double Molten Giants, face hunter, freeze mage (experience for yourself the frustrations of double Ice Block), worgen warrior.
But most of all, miracle rogue. Witness for yourself the very definition of broken. Oh yes, we all like to complain about the 'generation' degeneration of today's rogue. How bout a non aggro rogue that doesn't generate shit but kicks your arse while drawing their entire deck one card at a time in one turn.
I would like this card so much more if it was a 1-cost minion, so it can be first thing you play in the game (like in wc3). And the effect for example, 1/ body, at the end of your turn, add a Coin to your hand (mining gold so you can kickstart your gameplan). Frenzy and scrolls just feel strange to go with peons.
Sorry for this late night random thought, just felt like sharing it somewhere to get it off my mind.
New Druid Minion - Druid of the Plains
Looks strong! My druid will like this.
New Neutral Minion - Peon
Ok stats, but random and delayed effect... This is no Wandmaker. Won't see play in meta decks.

Yeah it's just silly, 1 mana is the easist card ever to corrupt, so it's nearly always 1 mana for +2 to minion and +2 to weapon.
