When DH was released, I was apprehensive to the idea of a new class. At this point, I have accepted it and look forward to Monks and DKs being added. My only concern with the inclusion of monks is how they would make it unique because monk is the least interesting class (imo). It is like a jack-of-all-trades class, but they are worse than druid.
Edit: I mean they are the least interesting class in WoW. If you are curious there are three specs for monks: brewmaster (tank), windwalker (dps), and mistweaver (healer). I personally think druid does it better because it can tank, heal, do ranged and melee dps, and more. Also you get to be a dinosaur if you play as a zandalari troll, which is inherently cooler than being a weird fat panda.
If you were to learn something from this situation its that you shouldn't wait until a potential disaster strikes to make sure you have stuff in working order.
Totally true. After 20 years in sysadmin I can testify to that. We had 2 Disaster Recovery sites with the main system sync'd to DR1 and DR2 every 5 minutes. I designed and implemented it, wrote the Disaster Recovery documents and carried out a full test every year where I basically shut down the central server room and we ran off the backup systems for a day.
Separately test the primary UPS power backup and auxiliary generator.
Only way to be sure, and let the techs and devs know what to do. Ah good days (I'm retired now).
These cards didn't break wild before they were nerfed so I doubt they will break it now. I guess you could make an argument for Even Shaman making a comeback, though.
You fall into the second crowd, and that's great because so do I. But a majority of people fall into the first and keeping it as short and sweet for them and highlighting only the important parts is key to keeping attention. They should intrigue one into reading the full recap. If your bullet points end up being just as long as the text, there isn't much point in recapping it.
If there are bullet points you'd like to give feedback over, I would be more than happy to hear what you have to say about them! Feedback on exact issues is the only way to write them better in the future, generic feedback isn't that great though.
Doom in the Tomb also just went on for a little too long. Next time, I think we'd do it at the end of an expansion for no more than a couple weeks.
I disagree. Doom in the Tomb went on WAY too long. Even two weeks of that garbage would have been too much.
In fact, Doom in the Tomb is one of the primary factors that led to my taking a break from Hearthstone for the first two Phoenix expansions. Team 5 slowly earned back some trust by being quicker to fix problem metas during that time. (Yes, I paid attention even though I wasn't playing.) But I will not put up with anything like that ever again.
The effort to shorten what Dean said only made it less clear.

I don’t want to sound cynical, because I really appreciate the effort that goes into collecting these tweets and putting them in one convenient place. However, the summaries can be confusing or incomplete. The full transcripts are well worth reading (and not that long).
I’ve stopped playing Brawls a long time. Most are just boring pre-made decks or RNG fiestas. I don’t want to lose my time and sanity every week just to get one damn pack.
I think Blizz should change the pack condition from winning to simply playing x games without conceding. It’s in their interest too since they often use Brawl data for future designs.
Haha, that's fair. Thank goodness it didn't sound like the Lion King. (Though Orc Pumba is... intriguing!)
You're right, though. they did go for a less 'wacky zany Hearthstone' flavor with the Barrens. That decision makes sense given the storied WoW nature of the setting. I respect that they tried to make a powerful cinematic, but I don't think they succeeded. The main voice keeps building, yet can't draw out enough vocal intensity to really dig into the words (and is completely outshined by the second-long scream at the end, heh). The haha-tribal-glorification chanting is awkward, like someone listened to the Skyrim theme one too many times. And the words just aren't good enough. "The Barrens will break you." Er, okay, how is this video game setting going to 'break me', exactly? Am I a hentai protagonist?
Anyway, that's my rant out. Thank you for giving me an excuse to prattle on like a lonely grandfather.
I also personally consider it to be one of the worst, because I just didn't got the feeling (maybe because I don't play WoW? Idk). But calling an Expansion trailer with 2 1.2 million views (KotfT has 1.8 million currently) a flop is just objectively wrong.
I guess its just a matter of flavor. Not everything has to sound like an opening song from a disney movie. In fact, I kinda respect blizz for not making the cinematic sound like the opening from lion king, though god knows it could easily have been that way.

Agree, many of Kripp's opinions were ... questionable ... even when he played more often.

What? The last 4 expansions that had reveal streams were all Kripp? It's become completely and utterly ridiculous in terms of blatant favoritism.

I feel like that's just trying too hard to intentionally misinterpret something that is pretty obvious, for no reason other than to just do it.
