I am not convinced it will be good. Its immediate board impact is weak. The 5 damage is the best option but then you have removed the later threat from it. Is a 6-mana 3/8 that deals 5 damage good enough in a mage deck? I think that is what it will be most of the time.
Mage struggles to get board control so any board based deck could probably kill it without much trouble and mage's current secret pool offers no protection from existing minions. It needs a lot of support to survive a turn, and getting it to survive two turns seems near impossible.
Obviously, Im not saying that mage can guarantee its survival. But the mere fact that if it does survive you probably win the game. Plus on the up side, its 8 health 6 mana, and a must kill minion or they lose. I think decks would make space for something like that.
And of course, mage can copy it. But Im not sure if the effects stack outside of the minion itself.
Apparently one of the sneak pics in the reveal schedule shows something that is very likely sargeras.
Its unlikely that they'll push him to the miniset because there's not really many titans to begin with (apparently they even needed to make up 2 of them for hearthstone alone)
How "free to play" are we talking? Because no matter what you've got at least a $70 charge upfront just to own the game: it's not like Diablo Immortal or Path of Exile in that sense. Beyond that, the only thing you can currently buy in-game are cosmetics; the seasons haven't started yet, and we don't know the full details about what the season passes will amount to. They will contain cosmetics and "character boosts", and will have paid and free parts of the track - the boosts will be on the free side, by the way - but we won't know more until we get further into July.
3 to give a minion +3/+4 and stealth for a turn...meh. Rarely any deck running this would pull it out as a minion itself, so in Rogue that "buff" is less than appealing. The only way I could see this being used is if Rogue has a lot of great, low cost mechs and you can slap this on Zilliax or something else... hopefully
When it comes to magnetic minions, I rarely look at them as stand alone pieces. These minions always resonate as buff cards for me. This vs Hand of A'dal for example... this will give your minion +2 more health and instead of drawing a card, it will buff something in your hand. Instead of that draw mechanic directly with that enchantment, you'd look at needing to include things like Radar Detector. Which if you're running a magnetic cards, should mean that you have 2 in your deck already.
There is a limited pool of minions you'd want to bring back with those attack values. This means that the rest of your minions need to be buffed out of these ranges, or you're running lots of control. I can see this being included in some meme decks, but I'm not seeing it's validity in a deck yet.
I'm totally convinced that this will see play, how much remains to be seen. Realistically, even off of a good roll with The Sunwell and getting varied spell types, getting a lot of value from 2 of these in your deck should be obvious. Mage already has mass "clears" with Blizzard and Deathborne, but they only do 2 damage unless somehow pumped up. This being able to drop to do 2-3 damage to all minions for 4 mana isn't bad. Let alone if you're able to grab Shadow, Holy, Nature, and Fel pumping that number of more is great.
No one should build a deck around this, but including it in a deck that has 2+ spell schools already seems like a gimme.
If it doesn't get hit with Objection! right out the gate, it needs to be dealt with. If you have secrets in your deck, dropping that Counterspell with this would be a great idea.
That being said, even with the cumulative benefit of each ability comparing this to the Druid Titan, it's kind of lacking in my opinion. You really need to have a solid secret pool set up ready to protect it for a turn.
This is a beyond solid card. There are obvious targets for this in your deck (Nourish and Drum Circle primarily), but if you stack your deck with only choose one cards where both are quite viable, this is gross.
With all the cards in Wild that this has at it's disposal, I'd like to think that it could be a part of a deck. But with the current Wild environment, I don't see this getting into any current top decks solely based on this taking a turn to Forge and then being used takes away a turn that you could be playing a lot of other things.
A Kun effect, Fill your life, or Fill your hand along with 10/12 in stats, a taunt in a class that has NO problems getting 10 mana... yeah, something tells me that this is going to get punt kicked.
The Good Bird Lady Deck - A Hitchcock Nightmare
So why are you running poros if you're just going to exodia with darkin?
Any particular reason or is it because you know the established poro decks are bad lol
I dont blame you
But you know you could run the exact same card in azir irelia and it would probably be better just saying
Or you know heart of the fluff the poro exodia card
What am I saying is you could literally be doing anything.better and everything
Why even bother with the tribal thing if you're gonna build your deck with central conceit that your deck is bad?
Makes no sense to me
Help I can't stop winning with my ambush deck
CMBQCBIHCYBQIBZGINTASBYHAMCAKCINEYTSWLAAAEAQOBZI

New Mage Minion - Norgannon
Counterspell or Objection! alone can at least force some decision making.
Obviously, Im not saying that mage can guarantee its survival. But the mere fact that if it does survive you probably win the game. Plus on the up side, its 8 health 6 mana, and a must kill minion or they lose. I think decks would make space for something like that.
