I think at the end of the day Swim kind of had the right idea when it came to this game:
- you need to build a poro deck do you a just jam an agressive follower curve and call it a day or do you meme with iceborn legacy and elusive poros? The answer at the time was the road less traveled
- you need to build a shadow burn deck do you just run pnz with a bunch of pings or do you run phantom pranksters with ephemerals? The right answer is the road less traveled
Thats me I'm the new Swim offering good decks that are strong not because they are competitive but because they lean into what the deck is intended to be
Its a fair card, but there's just so much competition on that slot from paladin.
Seafloor Savior is already a big one. And even on the front of handbuff, you'd just play Grimestreet Outfitter, which guarantees results unlike this one.
Probably see play in mech pally and nowhere else. In pure, there's just no reason to play that many mechs and the aforementioned outfitter already trumps this card by a mile.
Perhaps the titan for rogue is mech so there may well be a good reason to play a card that would otherwise be trash. At least its a 3/4 stealth for 3, meaning it'll almost always get an attack out. But rogue is simply one of those classes that nowadays just dont play curve.
But hey. Menagerie rogue almost became a thing, so I guess we got to respect it. But even then I'd rate this card as 29th in a hypothetical tempo rogue deck. Why would anyone play a 3/4 for 3 nowadays that doesn't immediately do something?
Would probably see play, because team5 seems to be pushing this into an archetype for mage next expansion, and its really not that bad even on its own. Most mages would already played at least 1-2 spells by turn 4.
Yes, there's that distinct possibility of getting something wonderful, especially if you can grant this rush and a key minion is on board. But in reality at best this subs itself for a removal option that may or may not be useful, or even worse still you'd get a 1 drop. Or nothing at all in the case of a class with ping hp.
Because its too expensive, cannot be easily cheated out, and the effects aren't game winning. Besides, its an 8 mana do nothing.
If only those giants had rush, or if this was a deathrattle, there might yet be a chance. But as it happens, the only hope this card has is as the 39th card in an XL deck.
I don't like the new Deathwing because it gives permanent buffs to the opponent's board too which could make when you face Deathwing very important, especially in the early turns.
Hi Tamura, have you heard of io games? They're a genre of online multiplayer games that are really fun and addictive. You should definitely check them out and join in on the action!
This patch is a massive W for D4. Amazing QoL changes and the XP increases feel incredible. Also all of the changes were mentioned in the dev live stream from a couple weeks ago so it's good news that the team is able to release these patches so quickly.
Looks fun! I can see some Bonelord Frostwhisper shenanigans unfold, similar to the Cage Head stuff that surfaced shortly in Standard. Also don't forget that Hollow Hound gives Hunter lots of survival so it isn't that hard anymore to reach turns 8-10, even in Wild.
One of the devs said on twitter they had only 9 lore-based Titans and added two Hearthstone-only Titans, at least one of them being female and the Paladin class Titan. I can dig out the source if you want to, but I think it was Cora.
The Backrooms is a survival horror game in which you will explore diverse environments, passageways, levels, and whatever else you can think of. The game is based on a mythology that has spread widely on the Internet.
Geometry Dash Lite is a jumping game in which you must pass geometric obstacles using your own character. To begin, choose from four square symbols: a spaceship, a saw, a flying saucer, or an orb. The hazards in this amusing jumping geometry dash lite game include all geometric shapes such as triangles, squares, rectangles, and others. There are plenty good challenges to complete, orbs to gather, and lightning to avoid.
Yes you can spend turn 2 to make a turn 3 monster, but given that that monster doesn't outright win you the game, and that its base form is so weak, I wouldn't bet on this seeing much play. You're always better off just playing a 2 drop if you can, than bank on a bigger 3 drop + a turn skip.
Even if you manage that 6/5 minion on 3, its hardly the end. 5 health on turn 3 isn't special in 2023 anymore.
It tutors out Nourish. That alone makes this card worth playing.
The fact that druid mostly skips their first few turns makes it easy to just forge this in advance and then play a 3 net mana card that ramps for 2 and draws 3 cards.
Its not the card that will make warlock good I can tell you that.
And that's because it requires a target to even do anything, and warlock targets arent exactly very good. Even in chadlock, if you manage to get a big thing out chances are good you're well on the way to winning anyway, so where does this card factor in?
Might as well just play a reactive card to remove a target, than play something that adds an extra layer of conditions before removing a target.
Let's be real here; this card will always see play. It doesn't matter its viability. Its a yogg card.
As for whether its any good...Well, its not trash. In most cases this card would just destroy the targeted minion, or be benign enough that you wouldn't outright lose the game.
But this card hardly needs an endorsement. If youre playing this you probably care less about winning than just spinning the wheel.
Can only really review this after the set is released, because at the current time of writing its best fit is obviously into big pally.
Bringing back kangor by itself is backbreaking enough.
And yet, because of its obvious anti-synergy with kangor, I think team5 has an exact group of cards they expect this card to work well with, that hasn't been revealed yet. Bearing in mind that it can only revive pally minions, so its potential is slightly less than what we would expect from similar resurrect cards.
Its good, but not sure if its going to be a whole deck itself.
The combo potential in wild is practically moot. You'll never last 8 turns realistically in wild and hunter doesn't need it to win anyway.
In standard however, there's only really 1 charge card and that's Freebird, a dead card in hand until this is played and the joke is you dont even immediately win with it. So what are we left with? Playing Wisps?
Its the 31st card in the deck. Only XL decks would play it, because unless the new set introduces more cards that specifically do well with this one, I'd rather just play Lor'themar Theron, a card that's 1 mana cheaper and infinitely more powerful.
There really isn't any need to discuss this card's viability. All three selections are more than capable of turning the tide, and druid isn't exactly lacking win cons.
Basically if you dont win by the time druid plays this card you might as well concede.
I truly hope druid remains on the tier 3 list next expansion because I wouldn't want to be tortured by this card's existence.
There are ways to set this up so it can possibly survive past its first turn. 0 mana secret + ancient knowledge on 6 probably forces your opponent into gambling an answer out. Then the second turn you can choose unlimited potential to make it to the final point of doing 20 damage to face.
Overall, there's just no way around it. This card is just solid no matter what deck its played in, solely because your opponent will always be required to either win outright from there or kill it, because if for whatever reason this stays alive then you'll likely just win from there.
Only way this card doesn't see play is if the whole class simply doesn't see play.
1. gnar ambush transform - basically just splashing for witch doctor and gnar, this feels kinda bad as someone with experience with this archetype. There's a lot of cards that don't really belong
- pie toss why?
- concologist why?
- grandfather fae why?
so this is kind of what happens when good players try to play memes, they have to much trouble divorcing themselves from the "good cards" and embracing the good "deck theme"
So what you end up with is a confused beater deck with random pings and desert duel, again yes it's a standard deck which is why I hate standard, cuz I can guarantee this is not how this builds properly in eternal
2 swain illoi
- whaaaat this isn't even a new deck are you guys even trying at this point?
- like just replace yourself with another LOR expert at this point yeeeesh
3 Nora Neeko
- so once again the pro players are struggling to divorce themselves from good cards
- umm how do we play the new pheasant lady?
- shit I don't know just jam the zoo cards in a nora shell
- wait doesn't Nora already generate infinite board value and isn't that anti-synergistic with a tribal deck?
- don't ask me maybe she'll roll a random sub type or something
- what's the chances of that happening?
- idk 10% wait what were we doing again?
4. Fizz samara
- also not a new deck skiiiiiiiiiiip
5. poro deck
- okay you guys might be new to poros so I will excuse you
- but generally the most efficient way to run poros is to only run the goooooooooood one aka lonely
- and then just generate the rest
6. Kaisa
- not a new deck
7. Temple frostbite midrange
- this one is actually good because all they had to do was take an established shell and jam one new card in it
okaaay so the lack of meming experience here is really evident here, we have 3 new champs and I would argue that all 3 were built grossly wrong like waaaaaay off likes miles off the mark
but that's good because when the set releases I can share the good versions of these decks for eternal :)
- Titan cards will likely be similar to hero cards in that they are very powerful, easy to fit into any deck, and will likely be in contention in every deck from their introduction.
- Its likely you cant discover titan cards, similar to colossus minions but getting one out of random effects (like evolve) will likely tilt the game. Looking forward to titan cards eventually being impossible to obtain outside of deck inclusion
- A bit worried of titan cards in general. Because the gameplay patterns looks like 'play titan first and win'. Moreover it also forces every deck to need an answer to it. You cant realistically allow these things to stay on board past their first turn. Even aggro decks cant do it without losing.
- Forge as a keyword is a bit of a weird one. Its either going to break the meta or remain neverplayed. On one hand, skip an early turn for a later big payoff (Cyclopian Crusher is a good example of this. Imagine turn 3 6/5 rush) and on the other hand is being completely destroyed by aggro.
- That rogue card is scary precisely because its so bad. Looks like yet more tribal trash, an indication of how the next expansion will go for rogue? Well, that class will always somehow get top play rates in legend regardless

Reviewing The day 1 decks Lor Expansion
If we want to talk about why my memes are generally superior to the memes people think are good in eternal
It comes down to flexibility
So look at something like timlines supposedly a top tier deck or something
It does one thing and one thing only play beef, and yes it's big beef with keywords and equipment but thats all it is
My meme plays beef, has a curve, has removal, has burst buffs, has an endgame combo wincon. You see a themed meme will always beat a competitive meme
Thats just how it is in eternal
In standard it's the opposite
Another way to phrase that is people think way too follower centric when they should be thinking a little more champ centric
New Paladin Minion - Noble Minibot
Its a fair card, but there's just so much competition on that slot from paladin.
Seafloor Savior is already a big one. And even on the front of handbuff, you'd just play Grimestreet Outfitter, which guarantees results unlike this one.

Lol no.

Would probably see play, because team5 seems to be pushing this into an archetype for mage next expansion, and its really not that bad even on its own. Most mages would already played at least 1-2 spells by turn 4.
New Neutral Minion - Fate Splitter
Its probably shit if Im honest.

But in reality at best this subs itself for a removal option that may or may not be useful, or even worse still you'd get a 1 drop. Or nothing at all in the case of a class with ping hp.
Inconsistent, and unremarkable in constructed.
New Neutral Minion - Son of Hodir
Probably arena filler, or even worse.
Hearthstone's 26.6 Patch Adds the New Twist Mode, TITANS Pre-order, 2 New Events, and Battlegrounds Updates

My comments on the expansion and cards;
