This gives me nightmares from when Luna's Pocket Galaxy was in standard with how major the discounts can be. I think that Pocket Galaxy has taught us that if you run a big discount card like this, that all the minions you include need to be good standalone to the point where you feel okay playing them from hand if they don't get the discount and buff. This means I don't think Deck of Chaos will work well in a combo strategy, I'd argue that Supreme Archaeology lends itself better to that strategy. Still, if Hearthstone has taught me anything, it's that discounting cards is something that mostly ends up being powerful and can't be overlooked. We'll just have to see how this deck can be built once all of the cards get revealed.

I was kind of hoping this would be Sayge based on the art. Still hoping we get him as a Warlock or Mage legendary.

As Trimutius said, why not both? If you care enough about bouncing minions to put Shadowstep in the deck, then having more ways to do that is surely desirable. OG quest rogue went really heavy on it (for obvious reasons), but other decks can find it useful too.

Certainly has utility. For battlecries mainly though maybe in some combo deck? Sadly it doesn't add a copy like Shadow caster or Zola . The only upside is it costs less.

And classic was a overal way way lower power level. With way elss mana cheat and all and wya less crazy stuf

Right, and we're talking about serious mana cheating on one of the craziest cards in Classic. The question is just whether the meta will routinely punish a slow turn and/or a 15 health cap, not whether a 3 mana Jaraxxus is strong enough for modern HS.

Upgraded Youthful Brewmaster. It effectively doubles a Battlecry/Combo for 3 mana total. That seems good, Brann Bronzebeard sees quite a lot of play even in Wild.

I understood what you meant I am saying that 5 mana 5/5 is not spectacular you are not running this just to upgrade your hero power and get a ress target with N'zoth.

if you don't have at least the 2 standard cards that generate SHR you probably are not running this guy cause the effect is a slight upgrade to the hero power, which you don't want to use in most games as the game got a lot more tempo oriented.

The only Use i see for this is bouncing a big Battlecry, but I don't think that Rogue wants to run expensive Minions.

Solid, very solid. Now just need to decide which battlecries/comboes are the best with this...

I have a hard time believing this card won't be played.  It synergizes with almost every Rogue archetype and is incredibly cheap for what it's effect does.  The ability to spend 3 mana to replay any minion you have on the board has massive potential, expect to see this card a lot for the next rotation cycle.
