  • Warrior Card Reveal - Scion of Ruin

I'll be so dissapointed if it's not called that

  • New Neutral Minion - Chromatic Egg

In love the secret discover mechanics but 5 mana is a bit too much. Maybe in Standard, where the pool of Dragons is smaller, may vaguely see play.

Look at Fiery War Axe :)

If a shudderwock gains this minions' battlecry and then this minions' deathrattle through da undatakah, what would it hatch into?

    Hysteria mythbuster, its for you

    Mind. Blown.

  • Warrior Card Reveal - Scion of Ruin

wdym what is the easter egg?

  • New Rogue Minion - Flik Skyshiv

Because we really needed counter to Weasel Tunneler Priest:)

  • New Neutral Minion - Dragon Breeder

Good card, somewhat situational but playable in most dragon decks. A combo card rather than a 2-drop though.

  • New Warrior Minion - Scion of Ruin

Really good, 5/5, if you manage to invoke early. Still good in lategame with 9 rush damage, or absolutely insane if to draw them with Galakrond's buff. Now for Warrior to get some cheap invokers to trigger this...

  • New Warrior Minion - Scion of Ruin

    Pretty similar to Oasis Surger.

Imagine getting this from Galakronds Battlecry! 3 7-6 with rush for 3 is bonkers.

The only thing that's missing are some Warrior-Invokers.

  • Warrior Card Reveal - Scion of Ruin

This is a temporary name. There were cases before where cards were given the word ‘fluffy’ in their name, which meant those names are unofficial.

  • Warrior Card Reveal - Scion of Ruin

We don't have an official name, since this card was revealed in a Japanese blog post.

Our tradition is to give cards "Fluffy" names until their true names are known, or we have a very close approximation. Since none of us speak Japanese, and translations have varied quite a bit, we're waiting on an official confirmation.

  • New Warrior Minion - Scion of Ruin

Dragon Warrior rises from the ashes... like another mythical fiery flying creature.

  • New Warlock Minion - Valdris Felgorge

Lets hope Warlock has the tools to support this card. You can actually just disregard the “set hand to 12” part, because the real strength is drawing 4 cards with a nice 4/4 body attached.

Crossing my fingers that Control Warlock will be good.

  • New Warrior Minion - Scion of Ruin

Definitely don't want to rush to conclusions here, but in the case that this is functionally a super Restless Mummy for one less mana, it's great. The question is, how many good invoke effects will Warrior have access to, and will they be easy to play before this? So far we've only seen a couple of neutral invokes and no Warrior invokes, so it's way too early to judge this card, but I suspect that the one mana extra on Restless Mummy will still be worth it to hit that "average value" of two 3/2 rush minions, specifically because it's so consistent. But maybe Galakrond Warrior has room for both, since 3 mana summon three 3/2 rush minions is powerful in the late game.

Absolutely bonkers for handlock. In other decks it’s a Sprint with a free 4/4 body and still good. Nice to ser some love for handlock, might try it out in wild also.

  • Scion of Ruin

Nice invoke lover, excellent when drawn from Galakrond but otherwise not so good.

On the other side, Kibler finally got a dragon Pog!

  • New Neutral Minion - Dragon Breeder

Dragon Breeder is basically a vanilla stated minion with "draw a card," which is obviously great. You want to be holding dragons in hand for dragon synergies, and this helps land that, and you prefer to get more copies of the dragons you included in your deck (as opposed to random ones) for pretty obvious reasons.

  • New Warrior Minion - Scion of Ruin

given that this was revealed prematurely I suppose there will be more synergy cards to justify its effect.

We haven't seen the Warrior Invokers yet, but I doubt we get ones that actually allow you to play this on turn 3...meaning the true strength of this comes from

    a) being drawn with Galakrond

    or

    b) synergizing with some other dragon related mechanic that has yet to be revealed for Warrior

Either way, I doubt they'd waste an epic slot  on a card that's just a worse Restless Mummy at face value.

  • New Neutral Minion - Dragon Breeder

    very interesting.

It's too early to properly evaluate this, but I could see it in Dragon-Quest Shaman (if that becomes a thing). Zola was an amazing value card and this is practically the same as long as you're playing a dedicated dragon deck.

Also a 2/3 vanilla with an upside is always a good choice for most decks

    Torn on this one.

On one "hand" drawing 4 while also increasing Handsize in a class that likes to draw a lot is pretty strong. This makes both Plot twist and the Quest a lot better.

On the other hand, this is a 7-mana 4/4 that does nothing the turn it's played, meaning you'll usually have to set up a Doomsayer turn to play this and even then it's a pretty weak play by itself.

Although we finally get to play 1-mana Mountain Giants.

The real question is whether this works in combination with a dragon package, because otherwise I don't see Controllock working out.

Would pre-nerf Ancient of Lore still be an auto-include? Yes obviously because of Ossirian Tear, but even standalone it's still a good effect. Creating card advantage while putting any body on the field is a great ability. The extra hand space is just icing.

pre nerf Ancient would probably not even see play these days. Spending 7-mana on a vanilla with only a card draw effect just isn't a good play anymore. there's a reason why Countess Ashmore saw no play whatsoever, despite The Curator causing people to run suboptimal Murlocs just to make use of him.

Card draw is no longer as much of a luxury as it was 2 years ago, and Warlock already draws a lot, so the real appeal of the card is the handsize increase and all the benefits that come with it.

That being said, revert my boy Ancient of Lore, he doesn't deserve to be trash forever because of sins from the past

  • New Rogue Minion - Flik Skyshiv

awesome card with a really interesting effect! nice antidote to Sathrovarr, Tomb Warden and other copying cards.

  • The BlizzCon 2019 Hearthstone: What's Next Panel is Now Free to Watch

    Thanks :)

  • New Neutral Minion - Chromatic Egg

would be interesting to see how the different classes compare to each other.

Hunter for instance wouldn't fare to well because you might run into the two class dragons which are a bit underwhelming, whereas Rogue has a chance of discovering Waxadred, which is a very good result.

Might be a fun gimmick for stuff like Shaman or Rogue, but overall probably a meme

  • Scion of Ruin

A little too late to the party but rush warrior needed something like this to stay viable. The two invoke requirement means this will likely stay in the hand for at least 4-5 turns, but if it gets buffed even once, the tempo swing along with Spirit of the Rhino would be immense. Even without buffs, its decent enough to replace Restless Mummy as long as you invoke twice.

Getting a copy back with dragon breeder is just so much value against aggro or midrange decks.

  • New Neutral Minion - Dragon Breeder

Very good card for dragon decks. Similar effect to Zola the gorgon but with the downside that you can only target dragons and the upside that you can have two copies of this card in your deck.
