Why do we have FOTY in Hearthstone?
Hearthstone is probably the only game I've played that has always a FOTY(Flavour of the YEAR). Where other games if somethings op it's FOTM then just gets nerfed. Why do we have to deal with so long FOTY in Hearthstone when it's a digital game? Playing since closed beta there has always been something OP for the period of ~1 year. If this is the trend that will continue for the future, I don't know if I see my self still playing.
All you have to do is change a few numbers in the codes and that should do the trick right?

There have been a lot of flavors (50-60-more?) played at the competitive level in the last year. There are a bunch of reasons to try and not change cards, but there are also thresholds you reach where changing cards is the right answer. What specific examples are you talking about when saying 'this has been popular for the last year'? Zoo?
