Heroic Chess is AMAZING

This is by far my favourite challenge they've ever released.

Requires you to think on every turn. Every time you place a minion, every little decision matters so much.

I love how they captured the importance of your queen from real chess. I love how they captured the sneakyness of the knight from real chess.

Everything about this was absolutely perfect.

Blizzard, You may have screwed purify up, but you nailed this.

    That's cool that you got the guy who designed it in wow for this. Does he work in hearthstone exclusively now? I don't follow developer movement.

    He does. Pat works a ton on Fireside Gathering and Tavern Brawl things now.... in addition to just having a bunch of cool ideas for a lot of different features.

    Was one of my favorite ones to tune and playtest. Peter (All-Around Awesome Dude) and Pat (Designer of the Chess Encounter in WoW) did a great job figuring out how to translate Chess into a game of Hearthstone. Makes us really happy you liked it, hope you enjoy the rest of the adventure!
