Are those 500 wins to unlock golden hero power with the class in general, or with the new hero specifically? So would we have to get 500 wins as Magni to get his golden hero power, for example?
It's with the class. So if you play as Magni and win, that counts as a Warrior win.
New heroes come with animated portraits and hero powers by default. The hero power also has a cool new animation when you use it.
The Hero Power itself comes with the normal "wood border" by default. When you hit 500 wins with that class, that "wood border" changes to "gold border", and has the golden backing. So there's still a difference between gold Magni and non-gold Magni.
They come animated as if they're golden, but still gain golden features once 500 wins are attained. Hope this clears some things up.
