It is easier for us to gathering community sentiment in consolidated threads such as this one, and we encourage your communication.

With that said, please avoid stating I said things that I did not say. It makes me very sad.

Over at the announcement thread, Zeriah suggested we direct our feedback at the developers who, lets face it, aren't frequent readers of the sub. If you're unhappy with this way of getting the golden cards tweet at the devs, or use the blizzard forums, or anything else you can think of.

Don't just sit there complaining, the devs have made changes before based on community input so make sure you're heard.

Feel free to voice your opinions on our forums (we prefer that you keep your posts to a single consolidated thread to better facilitate the gathering of feedback) or continue the discussions here on Reddit. I will send your feedback to our developers.

Hey all - this is something I posted on the official forums, and I'll share it here as well:

Acquiring golden cards from Heroic Mode bosses was actually something we had in-game during internal testing. We actually received a lot of negative feedback on this method of golden card acquisition. Like I mentioned, Heroic Mode bosses are not easy, and it felt really bad for people that felt like they could never get the golden versions of Naxxramas cards. We made this change to make things more accessible for everyone.

TLDR: We tried gold cards as a reward for Heroic Mode, it really didn't work.
