Before you forget: Complete prologue first, open KFT packs second

Because AFAIK if you open packs, get a legendary hero, and only after that complete a prologue, you might get rewarded with a dupe. If you do it the right way, you're guaranteed to not have any dupes (because new pack system).

I might be saying the obvious, but some people might not know.

    Not to worry! Non-pack rewards, such as those offered from the Welcome Bundle, Arena, or Heroic Tavern Brawl will follow the same duplication rules that will apply to opening card packs. The same will be true for the upcoming Prologue reward.

    Since the Prologue is supposed to give a Hero Card specifically, would it then provide a regular legendary if you somehow had all 9 already (crafted or opened from packs)?

    I'll double check this, but it makes sense that the Prologue would break the normal rules for duplicates because it specifies that you'll get a Death Knight Hero card when you complete it. In your scenario, you'd get a duplicate of one of the nine Death Knight Hero cards you already had, rather than another non-Hero legendary.
