I don't understand why Blizzard decided to make Taunt Warrior a thing, but then they decided to give Spreading Plague to Druid
They even added better cards to support taunt druid in one expansion then they ever did in warrior. Spreading Plague is just a better and upgraded Protect the King.

We made Protect the King before Un'Goro, but wanted to avoid making summon-based taunts in Warrior because it's unintuitive with the quest.
