Alone at Blizzcon
I'm going to be alone at Blizzcon...
My friend, Bob, had invited me to go Blizzcon after one of his friends in the group had bailed. I giddily accepted because I had never been and I've played Blizzard games all my life! I had to find a flight ASAP. Booked a flight from Miami, FL to LA, California and called off work. I would arrive Wednesday at midnight and wait for them to arrive later that morning to get a rental and go to our hotel.
Plans changed. I got a text from Bob right as the plane landed, explaining that he was in the hospital and that his other friends had canceled.
I immediately went into panic mode because I just spent 5 hours in a plane, albeit catching up on Wonder Woman and Baby Driver, for nothing and I was no longer going to Blizzcon.
I started researching and found that if I get a copy of the original buyers license and credit card, I could change the name on the account and pick up my badge. After finding this out, I booked a hotel and decided to ride it out, because BLIZZCON.
So now I have a dilemma of riding out Blizzcon alone.
If anyone would like to hangout at Blizzcon or recommend anything in the Anaheim area, I would really appreciate it.
tldr; friends bailed on Blizzcon plans while I landed in LA but I'm still going.
UPDATE: I GOT MY BADGE! Thanks for all the positive comments. I'm sure there are people dying to take my position.

I've spent a lot of my time at BlizzCons solo (pre-working there, so I didn't have a schedule to stick to or anything). There's loads to do by yourself - the demos are either PvE or they'll fill out groups from the queues, the panels are fun to whether you're by yourself or not, same goes for tournaments. On the more chilled-out social side, there's the Tavern, a lounge, and there's a sketch group area, if you like doodling.
And there are loads of meet-ups and parties. I know there's a massive mixer in the Hilton lobby Friday night (at least I think it's Friday... but you'll be able to tell, trust me :P), but there are parties starting tonight as well (if you google "BlizzCon parties" it starts listing out a bunch).
Also, as folks have mentioned, Disneyland is three blocks away, if you need something non-Blizzard to do. :)
